I am yet to watch the last episode. It was good. But honestly they should have made a different short drama for the toxic three of them. This show should be entirely for the leads, and the politics of Susha. That would have been better.

I did not like the plotline around her though. Her entire selfish obsession for a guy who doesn't even glance at her, clearly telling her he will never like her, was really boring for me. But then she also tried to betray her brother nation for such a man, tried to sleep with him even though his clear no. Then went on to do all crazy things and formed a weird relationship with her brother-in law, whom she only used and did not love. It was entirely very toxic. The only downside of the drama for me was the immense screentime all this nonsense got. Instead I would have loved to watch politics of Susha more. Also the actress was really bad in emotion scenes, that was a big turn off too. At least the crazy emperor was a good actor so he sometimes entertained me.

Sometimes in the show their story got interesting. But most of the time it was annoying. By the end I was seeing because I had to, I did not skip, but I did not want to miss anything. But honestly I was more interested in the politics of the evil step mother, nice step brother, Murong son-father.

The best actor in the drama was the crazy emperor. To make people believe he was crazy, to getting annoying, then entertaining, falling in love, and also being able to gain sympathy when he died, he delivered all the emotions too good. Never seen a work of this actor before, but he was excellent here.

Nothing in the world can make me like the Princess. No sympathy nothing for her. The only reason I think makers are keeping her alive because they don't want the ML to suffer another pain after everything that has happened to him. Otherwise this weird character of woman could die and play all her games with the Emperor and her ex husband in hell.

Even the princess and emperor were not good people. So whatever happens to them is what they deserve. I wouldn't care even if the Princess die but the ML already got so much pain so I don't want him to loose his sister whom he loves so much.

They are not having a happy ending according to spoilers. The emperor, the SML, the baby are all going to die. It would be a happy ending for the main leads. This is only according to some spoilers in the social media sites, we have to confirm after watching it.

Nope that's not cheating because Jing Shi himself told her he is not interested, even tried to divorce her. So they ended things ig. Its just the things between the three of them is toxic, weird, complex, earlier entertaining, in recent few episodes annoying and by upcoming visuals, I think its going to be entertaining again.

Yup they are the toxic entertaining and annoying red flag couple.

Its the emperor's child! I think that's why Jing Shi will try to kill the baby because that's the rightful heir to the throne.

Not for me though. The princess really has been very annoying recently. But yeah hoping her craziness bring some help for her brother otherwise it will be a total loss.

I agree to that. But still sometimes, I really think its a little more emphasis on that. The princess and her complexities has become too much for me in the last few episodes.

True but sometimes, the second leads are normal positive characters, or sometimes really evil. So I like to watch that. But this princess is complex and annoying.This is the only thing I am disliking in the show.

Why are the previews more focused on the princess instead of the leads? The princess and her story is getting too much screen time in the show. Its always annoying when she comes on screen.
