Am I the only one who can't finish episode 2 and I can't even finish it coz it's so boring and the ML acting was…
It gets better from ep 3 honestly. But if you find ML's acting bad, then maybe this isn't for you. Because its not him acting bad, he is a boring guy, with a cold personality, so except in front of his secretary, and maybe later in front of FL, he will act like that.
As viewers will we have the right to know if AI is used and for what? Similiar to warning labels or labels listing…
Yes it will be detectable. They even gave an example of it by showing scenes from How Dare You and Pursuit of Jade respectively. It was so bad, we have our actors who did the same thing, why show that, uhh! But I hope they don't reach to that position, Chinese audience have been calling them out, so either they don't move forward with this plan, or the censor board intervenes and finally does something appropriate against this.
Its Jin MU, from the noble family, grandfather of the king. He might have hired top chefs to make them in his…
Now that's a baby king. For sure he loves to eat those things. Royal kitchen hiring staff to make fast food for him is the only explanation I can think of. Lol.
There is no one mentioned except him. So I kind of think he is the top dude. The drama kinds of showcased or tried…
True. Same. But I think its more because they have not shown him playing the role of PM, most of the times he is shown as a friend in a casual manner so. Even ML when he is with FL, or his secretary or alone, is such a baby. The king is actually a baby. But atleast the guys are handsome and look good, that's enough for me. Lol.
On a side note- They should let SML do something as the PM to convey his role better.
So is Prime Minister Min the leader of the country - just being clear he's the head guy? "Cause he doesn't…
There is no one mentioned except him. So I kind of think he is the top dude. The drama kinds of showcased or tried to showcase that SML and ML are the ones who lead the country, at least I got that feeling.
He was powerless puppet for sure. Nope didn't seem to me he tried to stand up. He on the other hand gave up. Was…
Yes but I have my doubts regarding that cause I clearly remember SFL seeing her son getting scared and remembering her timid husband, that kinds of showcases that's his son. But then it would be a big plot twist, if they just show they have similar characteristics.
I hope someone clears my doubt. Was the woman queen was pushing onto Yi An the same one who was mocking Huiju's…
The woman who was introduced to Yi An, by his sister law is Dayoung (if I am getting the name correct). She is the same person who is friends with FL's sister in law, the girl at the table who even mocked FL's sister in law for marrying for love. Same girl.
He was powerless puppet for sure. Nope didn't seem to me he tried to stand up. He on the other hand gave up. Was…
Umm, yeah kind of. But actually standing up would be not getting controlled by the family of his Queen, and taking decision, doing stuff what he wants to. This sounds like he cannot take the pressure anymore and hence abdicating the throne. But yes this is also refusal to the Queen, so maybe something between the two. But again its mysterious. This is a constitutional monarchy where the actual power resides with the elected leader, so I don't understand as such power of the monarchy except ceremonial. There was a scene between ML and his brother, on his wedding day, where ML told him that he gave him a chance. Now what's that about is the thing that is important. Someone made a theory saying maybe ML's brother was gay, and ML was telling him not to go ahead with the forced marriage, or maybe he loved some commoner, and ML told him to marry her, but our timid king couldn't. Because seeing the nature of ML, it doesn't seem ML asked him to leave the throne for him.
I'm curious about any theories, what do you guys think about the brother of I-an, the king, was he actually just…
He was powerless puppet for sure. Nope didn't seem to me he tried to stand up. He on the other hand gave up. Was about to abdicate the throne and in this case it would go to his brother. He then got killed. Now who would actually benefit from the death is another topic, is it his own in laws who need another powerless puppet, through natural succession possible only by the death of the previous king. I mean a 8 year old baby is easier to control, or if there is any plot twist and its not them but others. Okay I had a theory about Min Family (SML's family) doing it, but maybe its far stretched.
Once again, this drama script is not making sense to me. Hui Ju is supposed to be super smart and is constantly…
Okay this portion is not clear. I have thought about this too, I have same questions. But I think either its a loophole in the drama, or its something they are going to explore later, maybe FL truly doesn't know and it will create problems later. If the characters mentioned it, like FL's sister in law, then I am sure they would clear this. We have to wait for that.

I know this is a rom com so generally no such plot twists. But I thought it was too easy. They did not try to…
Don't mind me, my plot has 100 loopholes. Its just that after watching thrillers, anything that straight way serves me in a plate, makes me doubt it. Especially after that cute guy being villain in Vincenzo, that traumatized me. But about the ML's brother's killing. I highly doubt the fire lit by the Queen lead to the death of him, it was just a small paper, there was someone else who actually lit the whole residence. I think they just showed us that to doubt the queen. Its possible she told her father about King leaving the throne, and her father doing that though or Min family.
I know this is a rom com so generally no such plot twists. But I thought it was too easy. They did not try to hide it at all. We all despise Jin Mu's character, hence conveniently placing him as a villain from the very first is something we would easily buy. I mean isn't it really strange they did not try to hide anything. Jin Mu and Queen discussing what to do, Jin Mu saying if something happens it would be hardly a surprise, and then the car fiasco. But what if its not him. Yes the family might be power hungry, but they really need the Regent. Is ML so dumb that he wouldn't trace back anything to them if something happens to FL. The king is too young, I don't think Queen can really do all works and take all responsibility as well.
But who actually benefits? In a constitutional monarchy, who fears power in the monarchy the most? Its the elected leaders. Steve Noh's character's family has been involved in generational politics. He has been trained to do this. What if it was them who killed ML's mother maybe because she was getting too much power/love and fear a monarchial takedown. Same for ML's brother's death. We all know ML's brother wanted to give away the throne, if that happened, the throne would go to ML, who is not at all timid but powerful and talented. That is why SML's family killed ML's brother before he could pass the throne to his brother, because if a king dies his son would be the next king not brother, and its easier to control a 8 year old child.
Steve Noh I really didn't want to doubt your character. But during a rewatch you saying to the Nanny only if there was an age limit for the king, and she looking at you weirdly, made me doubt you. Plus your character being too smart adds to everything.
Now this far stretched. A rom com might be be straight forward especially because in the trailer we saw ML choking Jin Mu. But its making me wonder what if everything is a ruse. Ahh maybe I am overthinking.
