Watched ep 3.. and π€―π±π€ Like Jun Ik whatever they called him... you did not. Like this woman is literally going through PTSD day in day out, is putting a target on her back...all to find some answers on who outed you and what did you do......Had a whole new family, hmmmm, they say respect the dead but Mu Ju's dead husband can go shove it... I was actually a little unsettled by maybe a romance between our leads but Now, I welcome It with Open Arms. You know now it makes sense how Mun Ju never got to reach that point of loving her husb....her instinct told her something wasn't right. A woman always know (in my grandma's voice).
If you watch the series closely, you will appreciate every bit of information and details this episode shows,…
Who is talking about Romance here....like what are you on about. I don't even like their romance (don't ship at all). Read my comment again π And yes, you can appreciate every detail and good on you. I need an interesting story and this ep. was not it...period.
Am I the only one who was sooo bored in this ep.? Me only, okay then. So I'm watching this series purely for Kheng and without him, I don't think I would have continued. This ep. just highlighted all the problems I've been having with this series so far. Without the ghost stuff especially Rumphueng, and ofc Peem, nothing else is there really. It makes me wonder what exactly is the meaningful purpose for the rest of the characters especially Khem. You know the most annoying thing is this story is centred around Khem so removing him from the equation, the story will crumble. And yet the irony is, he is pretty Useless (there I said it). No issues with the actor cause it could be anyone but with the same character, I will still feel the same. So this guy has had this curse thingy looming around his life pretty much since he was born. He learns that this curse has plagued his family for generations etc. And yet, he does absolutely nothing to try and save his life. Make it make sense. I would climb Mount Everest if it meant getting some answers there. I would do something not just wait around for people to constantly save me π. I mean, couldn't he have at least try and research his ancestry etc. Go to the library for f*** sake. And yet Nothing, Nada Zilch. Apart from, whining, simping after a hot dude and crying, he has done nothing so far. So yeah, I was bored π΄ to the max. Also, when will this whole thing of infantalising main characters ending cause its beginning to drive me nuts. So back to the ep. It seems many women were reincarnated as men here.. hahaha Seeing that next ep. prev. I'm a little excited. Yes bring back Rumphueng to cause some supernatural chaos and Hot Master fighting. Everything else...well, don't care really. P.S. this is my opinion only.
Not gonna lie it took me an ep. + to be fully captivated by this drama. Somewhere mid ep 2, it had my full attention. It feels like the first 3 ep. were a nice set up of what's to come and I CANNOT WAIT π π€ So it seems nobody really loved Jun Ik. His wife really Respected and Cared for him but didn't she say she had been waiting for a day where she would fully open her heart to him etc π€ and instead he got outed....You may argue this point but I think Mun Ju liked, respected and cared for her husband but Not Love him. Kinda Sad but hey, that's life to others. As for his mother, π€π€ I'm sure she cared for him but mostly loved him as a product of her making plus his bank account. So really, I feel sorry for the guy...RIP sir. I know this is a drama about politics etc and to some that's reviting but my simple brain is more interested in the characters and whoTF wants to Kill Min Ju plus how his now gorgeous bodyguard will protect her.
Oooh 8 eps. Well I'm in. I always feel like Kdrama thrillers should short, gripping and impactful and whilst I'm at the edge of my seat, it ends. I really don't miss those 16 eps. Dramas (still there but not at least not all now). Well, Life happened and I don't have time to burn anymore π GHJ is one of my all time fav and I remember Daemu and Queen S.... days. This woman can act. Already love 1st ep. and can't wait to see what chaos this Momma Mantis will bring. I'm literally holding off my judgement of her being a serial killer until I know WHY. You know there are certain reasons that might make me root for her especially if those killed were horrible people. Like I always say, humans have a switch and if the law cannot handle these bad people, to some people, the switch might just go off and sometimes we takes matters into our own hands....Unacceptable, a crime, sad = yes I know but don't press my buttons.
Never thought in my wildest dreams, that I would see a kissing and bed scene in Beyond the Bars....Aaaaand from my fav couple π₯°π I'm drunk you'll, I need to make a mistake too...LOL Okay, but seriously this case was painful to watch and I couldn't control my tears when she showed that footage esp. how she was prior to the bullying π’ π π. Like how can they break her spirit like that. There is a saying that...What is worse than being dead is being alive but exisisting like you're dead. And that woman (mother) is the one who created a monster...well, your monster got karma and now live with that. Okay, I may not approve but I understand where Yeonh Minah's mom was coming from. So I really hope that Lawyer Yun's mentor is onto something because I don't understand how this woman would be having drinks, hanging out with a male junior in a bar/hotel, and we see her shoes in a hotel room (suggestively) instead of being at home with her family, tucking her baby to bed.....there better be some clever explanation cause I don't understand this one...And, don't go all feminism this and that cause this scenario ain't it.
Sometimes I feel like I'm watching a Moral Dilemma embroidered by Law Drama....I mean this latest case made me emotional on the part where all these people actually used their hearts and NOT the Law to not indict or send this poor doctor to jail. Cause let's be honest, if there was damn good lawyer with no Heart, he was gonna find a loophole and indict her plus possibly have her do jail time. So it was just nice to see the Heart doing the ruling and the Law as a cover up for once. It just screams one thing to me, The so-called justice system is Rotten. Like tell me why oh why was that monster in a Flight instead of a small dark hole with no window jail...like how did he even got out after what he did to a childπ€ π€―π€¬π€¬. I have certain types of people in mind whom I believe deserve Hell on Earth and one of them is this...those who harm children. Like, go to hell! Period, full stop, end off, no questions asked. As much as I love this drama, I just feel like sometimes the situations/cases are not organically happening but more like engeneered. Like what are the odds that when we have this case of this monster, we got to find out that the other lawyer has 2 young siblings, and we meet them, and they are adorable and which makes me hate that monster even more and, and and. Okay, I will stop. So in the end, I don't get that organic feeling of events happening naturally etc. Am I making sense π€ Anywho, that last scene...hoooooo love is in the air. Lawyer Yu, is in looove. I wonder if he ever have the guts to just confess like his right hand man....I was LOL on that "I like you, mo I love you" π€£π€£π€£Poor Min Jeong, she was caught off guard...hehehe
Regardless of everything, I still find Qu Tong as the victim in all this...My heart goes to her π I mean her life is just sad and even if she survive this, I cannot fathom her picking up the pieces of her life and carrying on living. She just suffered a lot. So, like what other commented, I don't believe Su Muxin was the one who married her. I think her real Su Muxin disappeared after an encounter with Su Mufan hence the identity change. Cause the real Su Muxin was kind so how can someone change that much. π€ So if we go with this theory, then it won't make sense that this Su Mufan whom I believe is the real Su Muxin is blackmailing her. I think that right hand man is acting alone...cause he can see and type a message....unless, S.Mufan has a phone that can translate what he wants to say into a msge. My money is on that other guy, who probably has seen an opportunity to blackmail QT for money without SMF's awareness. I'm curious to see how right or wrong I am...hehehe
Can I just say....Of all the million drama series (globally) I've watched, this is the drama I can't move on from. I have rewatched it many times that I lost count. At this point, I can cite what they say with my eyes closed...hehehe. There is this YouTuber Espresso... who made an MV of Wuxie and Xiao Ge and oh man, the feelings. It's really beautiful. I wonder if I ever will be obsessed with another drama the same way again...sigh
Still watching this for KENG....what can I say, Man is Hot π₯ π₯΅ π π like he looks delicious. Anyway, why was my Annoyingmetre through the roof in this ep. Like that evil spirit brother = Annoying...like dude, you're dead so let the living live. Khem and his nosy a** interrupting when Peem is trying to barnish his evil bro from another life = Annoying. Like dude, go to bed will you. Khem and his bro being late and chatting during worship??? = Annoying (granny shuld have known better) Those 3 stooges wanting to cause drama= Annoying...you always have those none believers who still tag along anyway to cause drama. Yeah, part of me don't want them found. That fight when Mr glasses got in-between = Annoying. I mean who does that. Again, Khem thinking...I wish I could help more blah blah balh = Annoying. Sir you are pretty much at the centre of this chaos so sit tight and don't move. See, I'm even annoyed writing this.
I am tired of people complaining about ML as a bad person due to episode 7 case. Havenyou guys even watched the…
Well the prosecution, the judge and the biased system is to blame. If you take a closer look at Lawyer Yu's defense, it just makes no sense and irrelevant to the actual scene. He just attacked that woman's condition and did n9t even ask "What did you see on that night". And the prosecution and judge just sat there and allowed that to happen. In other countries like England, that type of questioning will not fly. You cannot see the condition before the person but the person as they are. So I actually don't dislike Lawyer Yun cause he did his job...but the other party didn't.
So after these very thought provoking and emotionally intense 2 eps. what some of you are thinking/talking about in the comments is....Romance or no romance π€π€¨ Like really.. is that what you guys (some of you all) took from these latest 2 eps. Woooow. Anyway, I feel like if that case of the woman with dementia had been trialed in England, Lawyer Yu might not have won or at least had to work extra hard. Cause here in England a person with dementia can actually be a credible witness as long as their mental capacity during their witness testimony is credible enough to convince the judge. Not remembering your fav. Students or the lawyer who is interrogating you doesn't mean much except proving your condition. What matters is your recollection of that night. And by law, you need to be supported through the process. So I was just thinking, if the prosecution had collected all she has gathered and her effort, it would have weighted her tesmony. Btw, it seems like Lawyer Yu just used her condition against her.....sigh. As for her husband....hmmmm. So his wife changed and the first thought was to cheat...Riiiiight. I don't really care how he was after cause that action made me side eye him....no offence. Can I take a minute to marvel at how great of a performance JHB showed in these 2 eps.....Like Wooow. Don't even know where to start except thinking Min Jeong unniiii, You Rock β£οΈ
Good points and good question!Yes, who is that woman in the ending scene? Was it his ex-wife? Any idea?
Definitely not ex-wife cause she didn't look pregnant. But also someone significant for the ep. to end in that suspense. I hope she is not another heartbreak cause hmmm Lawyer Yun has suffered enough. Plus, I'm tired of this shit π
Okay, Hyo Min, I'm not thrilled with you in this ep. Gaaaaaal, was playing with fire and you know what it does, it burns if you're not careful. They spoke about ethics etc, and what about the ethics that she should remove herself from the case due to conflict of interest π€ Also, I think that gal client was very lucky that her case ended that way because that perv douche didn't want it dragged and have it affect his company, hence settling was the best ending for them. If that wasn't the case and that douffas had a good lawyer (have lost hope in Lee & Seo), that gal was gonna be dragged and go down hard. Her case was not that strong. Is that guy a narcissistic sociopath...Yes, Is he a sadistic pig....Yes, is he disgusting (and I don't mean partaking in rough s** is disgusting btw)....Yes. But did he commit a Crime...I think, No and like I said, with a good lawyer, he will win (wait this sounds familiar....oh P.Diddy trial). It's sad but true hence why, we need to be extra careful and consult our support system (those who mean well) for advice especially when our hearts want us to do something we wouldn't normally do. My opinion P.S. And who is that again in that ending scene, leaving me in suspension π€π€¨
