Absolutely agree with your comment. Problem is they didn't say it like that but went straight to call Sang Gi all kinds of names. And now that we know (new ep. reveal), those stupid comments will be there permanently and even later on in life 1/2 people will bring it up. Hence people should not be quick to judge. As for the rich....I get it, it's very unfair but those kinds of rich people will always exist....Again Unfair.

Omg, I feel warm and fuzzy watching this slice of life. Every ep. always brings a hint of surprise and I love it.
So Ha Sang Gi is a rich kid.... Well, we all suspected it but the way it came out was just dramatic. Those comments are disgusting...I bet it's the poor miserable cows who write those comments cause rich and happy people haven't got time for that.
The whole nepo baby thing is not that of a big of a deal to me (my opinion). Only time I hate it is when the nepos starts to misuse the handed down resources and abuse the have nots. Other than that, I see it as a way of life..after all life is not fair. For a Nepo baby HSG turned out to be decent and even great at his job so no harm no foul. Fan fact, I also got into my high school through connections and turned out alright (nope, I'm not a nepo baby). And also, these rich kids did not choose their parents or to be rich....they were just born into this riches so why judge.
Ideally, I would want fair opportunities etc so the poor also have a chance but that's me being naive. Huh

Okay, my Hui Ji has a major major crush on Ju Hyeong...Like the whole ep. he was on her mind. Is this what they say that you tend to see your crush anywhere and everywhere 🤔 cause the boy kept popping up even in her periphery. And I chuckled on that jealous move....hehehe
As for the ex... sigh. Honestly people like her can be tiring but the problem is, it's as if we can't say that cause after all she is a victim. So ar3 you telling me this woman, decides to divorce her lunatic abusive husband and wants some alimony, accuse him of violence which is true but with no evidence at all. Oh and she represents herself. Was she banking on some miracle or something 🙄 After all that she went through she is still very naive...tsk tsk. And no, mam, let's not spun the block. ..move on.

Watching this latest ep. I just remembered something that I have been meaning to ask all along in my 2 decades of drama watching.
Conflict of Interest - This concept often appear very foreign in these dramas to an extent where I start to question of it is the way things are realistically in Asia ...particularly S.Korea.
For instance here in England, you are not allowed to work for or with someone wherw there could be a conflict of interest because doi g so can create bias. And to me, it makes sense although sometimes I find it to be OTT.
So I always thought it's the same everywhere 😕 🤔 No?

P.S. This drama is soo relaxing which is ironic caise it's about burn out effevt and finding solace in food etc. Guess my stress is too large to relate to this.

The trailer is incredible and I wasn't drawn to the first season so I stopped at ep 1.
Now I have a dilemma...sigh

I like LXY too but is it me who can't see a character difference between this and his Kill me love me character 🤔 Then again, I'm only an ep in so I might be too presumptuous.

Now I'm curious about the other 7 you're watching....do share the names.
After POB and a recent 18 ep revenge drama (forgetting the name) I haven't found something I like until now. Kdramas are also letting me down. And I cannot even recall the last time I watched a good Jdrama.

Funny you say that cause I have gone against my initial thought and continued ADWAD and dare I say after ep 2, it is cracking me up 😆. Also, I discovered my other weakness besides LYN and that's Wei Liang (if you watch POB, you will know what I mean) so I have succumb to watch ADWAD for now.
Someone in the comments said that even after 6 eps in Princess Gambit the leads are still hating on eachother and plotting against each. Another reason to pause as I'm looking for laughter not angst for now.

And that is why Prisoner of Beauty needs to be studied...hehehe

Who else watched an ep. of this and then an ep. of A dream within a dream before choosing which one to continue 🤔 Me only??
So I'm 1 ep. in on both dramas and with this, I don't know, it's definitely engaging but I was not as hooked as I was after just 1 ep of POB or Blossom. Though I gotta say, I have a guess on who the main villain is in the end so it would be interesting to watch and see if I'm right
As for ADWAD, I literally fell asleep towards the end. Well, I was tired so it's not the drama but then again, not a good sign. I can't help but to think of Love in Eastern Fantasy with Esther Yu drama whilst watching this. But the thing is, the latter gave me the giggles in ep. 1 and so far none for the former. I love Liu Yining so we shall see.
So far I'm definitely leaning on Princess Gambit to continue before I delve into the other one.
P.S. my apologies for talking about 2 dramas on the platform of 1.

Yeah I think there are some editing issues (hell I wanted this drama to be 32 eps.) but let me try to make things make sense for you. So apparently MQC was told by that jerk Chu that he has a spy in the palace which can come handy to kill the Empress dowager. And he tells her his name which is ED's right hand man. But knowing our MQC, she decided to only use him by sending the signal announcing her arrival which then have the spy take the ED into an isolated place (but this fool didn't know the ED already knew he is a spy). As for the transition to the cage. It shows that MQC goes to the king and strike a deal...which is to kill his mother (what a deal indeed) and she takes the fall but with conditions. So she pretry much plays a double game. In the end she manages to use the spy to enter the palace and kill the ED as per the deal with the king and goes to prison. However Chu d***head still wanted her (or shall I say to continue tourture her) that he insisted to marry her. Hence the king had no choice but to send MQC with shitface Chu but have her go as a criminal (pretty much wear a criminal robe, be in cage and get transported to whatever with a royal convoy) to appease the citizens (yeah right, I bet those citizens were actually dancing with joy that the witch ED is dead but 🤷‍♀️)
