but some of the constant nagging and whining is very childish behavior just because something isn't to their personal taste all the time and others dare to enjoy something they don't like so they have to bring negativity in the fandom to ruin others good time . that is pretty childish, so yes the "grow up" is valid 🤷‍♂️ and if you don't get how annoying and rude that is (also bad af fandom etiquette) then maybe you are not mature enough to even watch this series.

there are horror comedies, teen slasher, satire about hitler even... etc. please get a grip on the difference between reality and fiction. and idk if you noticed but nobody was laughing at any SA scenes in the series so far and the characters ALL have ulterior motives, all are assholes or have questionable ideas and morals. two of the mains are literally gang leader.... idk if someone expects some moral compass or life lesson here then they are so very at the wrong place. (the only lesson should be to not mess with gangsters)

because it's not airing in china and the current chinese BLs all work with other countries to get aired and avoid censorship. Like Meet you at the Blossom is listed as Thai because it's by a thai production but everything else is chinese and taiwanese. Trapped in Osaka is set in Japan and apparently produced in japan, but is also chinese BL (their next BL is in japan as well, i think that's their strategy for now) .

watch Trapped in Osaka (directors cut is uncut NC) and Revenged Love.... both current CBL (last one is even with the actor of Song Qi). I think the drunk kiss was just weirdly shot... because that is how actors fake kiss when the camera isn't fully showing their lips. The daydream make out was way better. And even the forced kisses were full on lip contact (yall realize those were forced kisses, right? and therefore Song Li of course did not respond....)
But the drunk kiss could also be that Song Qi was still holding back and just attempted a soft minimal touch to not wake Song Li up.

Before yall judge the series as finished, keep in mind there is still a special coming and apparently a second season too.

Also maybe remember that this is a small indie studio with low budget doing what they can + have to sneak around chinese government. For me the quality is not as important as the characters and story. And the story is insane enough to be interesting. I am so bored by the regular fluffy cute BLs.

did i say it's wrong? -> "but hey snakes need food too" (maybe read more than the first sentence before coming at people judgy). Besides that there are different laws about live feeding, especially on screen, in different countries to minimalize suffering. even the zoos in my city have to kill food animals before they get fed to snakes. So that difference was bit surprising. (one time live feeding in episode 4 in the snake farm, every other mouse was dead so far)

well except the mice that were fed to the snakes, they weren't CGI. but hey snakes need food too. the snake fights are CGI.

there are literally so many BLs airing atm or finished ones. but it is normal that not everyone like the same stories. I don't like a lot of school or overly fluff BL either. the moment you accept the step brother thing as kind of kink fantasy "forbidden love" trope same as any other weird fanfic trope or daddy kink it's fun to watch 🤷‍♂️

I mean the characters are usually aware of how weird and taboo it is, and that is one of the big conflicts (well ok Song Qi in this one here doesn't give a damn. they aren't blood related. Li literally just found Qi on the street and then I think Lis dad kicked both of them out at some point). but china has a lot of those plots for some reason. tho other asian countries have a thing with the "brother" honorifics as well: hyung, phi, nong, gege, didi. It all means big/little brother sometimes people have a kink for. Even tho it means more like bro... kind of, not the best translation for it. But (except hyung?) they get also used with family members. I think these stories just play into that more elaborated.

But the thing is not all actors want to have different acting partners. And MaxNat are one of them. Most of the ships are glad when they found a partner they can work with for a while.

I rather think Junho likes Jihoon the way he looked at him and touched him last episode + they both work together at a secret plan. But I don't think Jihoon would be interested with the way he sees other people just as tools.
