Not only in BL, but in romances in general there is a tendency to either a love triangle or a mean jealous, usually…
It actually happens in some GL that there are jealous men. But can we please stop saying "it's always female antagonists in BL" because that is so outdated from 3 years ago... that trope is not happening that often anymore. We have so many supportive female characters and queer female characters now too. (btw pretty sure that Jessica and Shuhe end up together, so they both are queer too... actually all in this drama are kind of bisexual so far which is funny and I love that as a fellow bisexual)
Since it's an open ending we do not know where they went, how it continued (which is intentional due to the euthanasia…
Yep, but not in a thai TV series that have disclaimers in every episode to not imitate stuff or that the following actions are a crime, immoral etc. We have that in the west in many countries too, that broadcasted plots have to hold a certain ... well moral story. But not that extreme anymore. That's why in most movies win the good guys, or it's at least very clearly told when the bad side wins that this is the worst happening. (there are also movies that indeed propagate political views which might get banned if it's bad views. Like in Germany everything that sympathizes or propagates nazi ideology gets banned if it doesn't fulfill certain art or educational criteria). But with Spare me your Mercy, there is not really a good or bad just law vs empathy, that makes it harder to judge and that do they leave for the audience to decide. Especially since that story is mainly made to talk about euthanasia, the romance plot is secondary. So they do have a message in this and that's why they have to be careful how far they push it to not get banned or censored (like Not Me the series got censored on the political messages in order to air). Storytelling is art and art can provoke and talk about issues and be more than just fictional entertainment. Not every story is, but some are intended to.
(this is btw not my opinion but something each country decides for itself how strickt they are with potential "bad propaganda" or fear that people could copycat stuff from movies)

It's like with everything. Some like it, some hate it. imo in this case it's the only way they could do it because they left the answer open to the decision / question weither euthanasia is a good or bad thing. I think they also have to keep it open for legal reasons. If they let Kan run free, it can be interpreted as the show is promoting euthanasia AND Kans criminal vigilante style of doing it. If they show us that Kan went to prison (or even executed), it can be interpreted as euthanasia being bad in general. But that is what they don't want to do, they can not spoon feed or influence the audience on that topic. It's too complex, dangerous and delicate. Opinions on it differ from person to person and religions too.
“I love you” my ass, fucking asshole. You “love him” but will send him to jail??? you have to protect…
Since it's an open ending we do not know where they went, how it continued (which is intentional due to the euthanasia discussion not having a set answer). He could as well change his mind midway, we don't know but we can interpret how we want it. That's the point of open endings.
Doubtfully, unless Thailand changes the laws on euthanasia. Since Kan and Tiu basically metaphorically represent polar opposite stances on that topic, BUT they could be together if there was an agreement on that topic. There isn't atm that's why they kept the ending of Tius decision that open.
There are other dramas you can watch?? Not everything has to cater to your taste specifically?

Why this plot again?! I dropped Anti Reset coz of the plot and now this🥲🥲
Are you unable to read the synopsis? There are many QL and themes I don't vibe with and simply don't watch and don't bother with 🤷♂️ especially nowadays with the massive different options to chose from.
is that all you care for... if that's why you here for then don't watch this since the romance part is more of subplot and conflict, a lot of pretense. the mystery and crime is the main plot.
The interviewers were a bit not prepared - they did not even know their real names or the show. It was akward.
That was a joke they are all actors in the same company. It's the first time they did something like that, they were nervous (said that at some point).
Yeah I'm with you on that, but at the same time Bible actor is just 18 years old, so its kinda understandable…
Are you implying that he possibly could have never ever heard about sex?? An 18 year old guy who applied to play in a mature BL about a prison love story? (not saying he had to have had sex btw that's a whole different topic) He would not audition for it without getting a rough job description on what is required of him. A producer would never hire him if he wasn't able and willing to play the part. Actors have a choice to decline the role if he don't want to play that character. Actors usually don't get forced into roles and scenes they can't do... alone from the production side that would be a dumb idea because the more time they take for the shooting, the more money the production costs. (every second of film on their cameras, used or not, costs money) Especially for sex scenes there are special acting coaches, intimacy workshops and rules that have to be in the contract. (look up Intimacy coordinator thailand). The guys from Playboyy have good interview insights on that topic too. There are actually a few actors who talk about NC scenes once in a while and so far there was nothing negative, no pushing of limits. The contrary actually. They always discuss the scenes beforehand and set boundaries for what is ok and what not.
There is no issue here btw if you make it up in your head. Unless the actor himself says something is wrong, I don't assume there is.
Yeah I'm with you on that, but at the same time Bible actor is just 18 years old, so its kinda understandable…
he's 18 and not a baby... yall always act like as if an 18+ year old can not think for themselves and always gets forced at gunpoint into acting in BL and never heard of sex before (besides the fact that they don't have sex for real on screen)
Yeah I'm with you on that, but at the same time Bible actor is just 18 years old, so its kinda understandable…
if you speak of Mac Nattapat he was 16 during the thai series of Addicted Heroin, his age is in his MDL profile (now 17), Newyear in that cast was 16 too... odd choices for a plot like that tbh.
