Yes, I know such rare cases exist but those are cases where people already were mentally ill or morally underdeveloped. I had to write a thesis about this topic just with video games. The majority of people can recognize the difference between reality and fiction. With those who lash out, it's always a mix of an already existing mental illness (depression, addiction, sociopathy etc), bad social environment and no help, which messed them up first. What inspiration they chose to fixate on and cross the line with can be anything they identify with in a way.

Like in your mentioned case, which 13 year old does not know that killing people is bad? Also that movie was not appropriate for their age, they shouldn't have watched it in the first place.

But with this movie here, I doubt someone has a vampire lover they have to feed human blood to. And if so they are delusional or into BDSM ;)

I mean the scenes were very fine. But it makes me cringe a bit when people call this sex scenes (or even softcore? lol what). I don't know but I often have the feeling some people never seen an actual sex scene (or actual sex). What we get in most thai dramas is foreplay and make out.... the sex part is always cut. The only exception I recall is "What the Duck".

Alright ep 9-10 were actually better than the rest. So far I like the first couple (even though their story was too fast but ok they just have two eps so whatever) and this one I like the most. Yep they are problematic and not standard romance but that's the point and that makes them interesting. The acting was good too.
I am just really not a fan of the editing and directing of the whole series. It feels super unnatural and wonky and often just doesn't make sense.

And I am sorry but Nuea and Mon are super annoying for me? Maybe it's the (over)acting or the plot or both but they are too over the top and a bit inconsistent. Mons slow bent down walks of shyness made me aggressive...
I skipped most of the ghost story tho, maybe I watch that one later but even though I love ghost romance they didn't really interest me, when we have way better stories like "He's coming to me".

Well, lets see how the next episodes will be. Interestingly the quality changes a lot with the couples / actors lol....
I am really interested into the Perth and Talay story. Since it's about three guys I really hope it's poly and not yet another love triangle of annoyance and pain. Give me some poly love in the BL industry, I am begging :(

I am at episode 1 and I am dying. This show is involuntary funny! It's so weird / cliche / bad that it's almost good again xD But I am curious how the other episodes will look like, maybe they will justify the hype?

Edit after ep4: God, the cringe is consistent I see. Sometimes it's like watching pr0n plot/dialogue but without the pr0n... also some fashion choices are very questionable. lol

tbh this show is slowly growing on me. Kind of hated it in the beginning and just watched it out of boredom. Or rather was annoyed for it to be yet another school themed teen BL + the exaggerated comedy. But since we finally overcame the fujioshi crap and the awkwardness of the beginning, I started liking the mains and I got used to the comedy (or did it tone down a bit?).

I really like the brothers relationship, they actually feel like teenage brothers.

I still don't take the show too serious like other fans pretending it's the best show ever :P

The absolute pain, but for some reason I still like it and find myself coming back to it. Because I liked how they worked through the mess realistically, slowly and how the characters developed over time.
It was also good balanced with the secondary couple, they were lovely. (sorry to the hete couple, but they wer a bit boring, which made me skip, what I don't do often)

Yeah, the only thing that bothered me in Season one was the kiss after puking lol

For season 2 I liked it in the beginning. It still had a certain vibe that somehow reminded me more of shows like Queer as Folk and less of BLs and I wish we could get more of this in future projects. But they weren't good with showing and explaining the motivations, emotions and the development of the characters... that made it so confusing unfortunately.

Overall I think they worked more with method acting in both seasosn. And some actors are good with it some aren't :/ in S2 it was very noticable when they switched from "free" acting to strict script acting, made them feel a bit ooc.

This is from 2017 and has better -more natural- acting than some of the more recent shows.... I really like the "boys being boys" vibe in this one. No awkwardness for friends (or crushes) being touchy or doing sexual jokes. I really like that better than the over the top sappy "shy schoolgirl" themes of some other BLs...

The subs on yt are not that good and somewhat confusing. I continued it on Dramacool even though it had this horrendous blue font for subs but at least they make more sense.

Ah yes btw... it's not your typical BL lovestory (finally!) and a bit more complicated with suppressed feelings, teen hormones and break ups.

I guess that this was a wink like "We give you an unrealistic happy end like in Disney instead of a realistic heartbreaking one". That'S why they broke the fourth wall to make it more clear that this is not real. After all this show is part satire about the industry but also about BL novel fantasy romance. It's purpose was to open our eyes and not to break us down.

Aey wants to be loved but pushed everyone away or hurt them and only got fake love from fans, people he don't know in RL, that's why he's sad.

Everyone forgets the existance of "50 Shades of Grey" again, which was a Twillight AU fanfic as well. As long as the names are changed and no major similarities exist, then there is nothing they can do about it. Every story is based or inspired by something.

Literally everyone is an ass, rude or doesn't understand Jong Woo from the very beginning of the show (it basically starts with the dude smashing his laptop). And it's supposed to be that way so we as the audience understand Jong Woos frustration and why his conditions get worse and why Moon Jo has an easy game with him, posing as the only one who understands him and cares for him.

I don't know where this comes from that only cute, touchy and healthy relationships get recognized as relationships nowadays? The word "chemistry" makes me almost mad at this point. Because what people mean with "chemistry" is only the ideal blooming version of a relationship, while there are so much more versions and states to relationships. People use the word "chemistry" to bash actors or writers when the relationship displayed doesn't match the idealized fantasy version of a relationship. I have seen people in RL entering a relationship just out of boredom, money/status or horniness and it still qualifies as relationship. Or married couples who live separately and barely see each other, yet are still happy together. Jong Woo and his girlfriend simply have a relationship that doesn't work well, it happens. That doesn't erase the relationship (if they don't break up) or makes the writing bad. If the writers tried to show a happy loving relationship, then yes, it would have been badly written but that is not what the writers want to show here. The distance between them is wanted like that.

I also see this misjudgment a lot in the BL fandom as well and it drives me crazy. When couples don't make out passionately or hug all the time, people tend to call it bad acting, awkward actors, badly written plot or just bromance even though they had a whole ass love confessions and relationship build up in the show...

Last tip: EVERYTHING that happens on screen, everything you see and hear, is wanted that way. Multiple people work on movies/shows and they usually plan and direct everything to the smallest detail. Unless it's a crappy low budget project.
