Title Dangerous Drugs of Sex Spoiler
Finally made a account just to post my thoughtsIn the beginning it wasn’t good, I didn’t see this ending in…
Would be interesting to see how their "relationship" continues. I have the feeling it wouldn't work for long with the horrendous base it was build on. But on the other side Katsuragi is now sort of primed on Ryoji. Are they even capable of engaging into a normal relationship? I doubt it. The end looked like the start of some sort of obsession as result of the stockholm syndrome. Sorry, I am just super interested in the psychological side of it all.

On Does the Flower Bloom? Mar 2, 2021
A lot of people criticize the actors chemistry and stiff hug/kisses... But have you considered, that Yoichi might be on the autism spectrum (and not just traumatized by his parents death)? The way he talks, barely looks directly at people, has no interest in anything or anyone except for the things that catch his attention / he is used to, his extreme honesty and directness, minimal emotional expression, him being impulsive and weird about body contact, he seems to think differently than "normal" people and doesn't understand others immediately.
Also, how the others talk and care about him, gives me this impression as well. The way they have to explain Yoichis intentions and behaviors to others, because it's not easy to understand for people who don't know how his brain works.

Title TharnType
People is kinda funny, when a BL show is too fluffy they say that is too far form reality so it's not good, but…
Also the thing what people oversee with "problematic characters", is that they will have to go through a character developement. For TharnType it is actually their story to learn to become less toxic towards each other, and they will get there (especially in season2). Unfortunately the show left a few reasons out from the Novel, that would have been important to understand a few things in the beginning

SPOILER: As example, the whole thing where Tharn interacts with sleeping Type in the beginning isn't that noncon. Type pretends to sleep to sort of spy on Tharn. Tharn knows Type is awake (notices the differences in his breathing when he is awake or asleep). Also the shower scene, Type likes it as well. Reason why he decides to sleep with Tharn is because he actually likes doing stuff with him + he thinks he could overcome his internalised homophobia and trauma like this.

I am not saying this is a genius plot and doesn't have bad elements. But with this knowledge it becomes less creepy.

Title Manner of Death Spoiler
This was a pretty solid bl drama. My only issue is that because MaxXTul are such a popular "couple", there were…
Tat is Tans henchman who threatened Bun in the beginning to change Janes case to suicide (but ordered by Pued). Also Tat and Sorn both helped with Nams case. So I wouldn't say they were pointless characters.

Not sure. The pandemic changed his plans to study abroad in USA after being accepted in a prestigious university.…
Also it is not impossible to study and continue acting at the same time. Since semester breaks are a few months long (they took just one month for MoD to be filmed) and it is also possible to pause uni and continue later. If he wants to.

Oh this show breaks your heart in multible ways from start to finish..... but it was well made! The emotions well delivered, damn good acting, deep characters. What surprised me, there were actual sex scenes. Didn't expect that from a chinese production.

People are really worked up over the peeping thing huh.... I really couldn't care less about that scene... People…
yep... it's not like they entered the house and demanded to join the fun. Sure it is wrong, but it is also such an ancient human behaviour and the same reason why erotica exists since forever...

Title Color Rush
Let's not forget most of the cast is acting for a first time on the big screen. As a fan of fantasy and romance…
also I think it is a cultural / law thing in korea, that they can't show too much, especially with gay characetrs..... (which is sad)

well the trailer says that its BL but this is definetly hardcore yaoi , I haven't watched live yaoi before so…
This is the problem with the BL category title, it's very narrowed. All the shows and movies should be called "gay" instead of BL or yaoi, to fit all types of stories.

On a serious note.. no matter WHY someone raped you. Rape is rape. The way Japan tries to make rape seem okay…
Can we stop calling this movie a BDSM movie? Sure it dips into the BDSM direction but it's still rape and torture. The main topic of the movie is stockholm syndrom and trauma. They are both fucced up and mentally broken people. Still fascinating movie tho.

You will understand if you watch the movie in its entirety. He himself explains it!
Hm, I think the Doc got really messed up that he saves lifes on a dayly basis but couldn't save his loved one from commiting suicide. Maybe felt guilty for not showing his love enough to prevent it. That's how I understood it. Why he choose this kind of "therapy". He is basically punishing/"fixing" (in his mind) everyone involved: his dead lover, the suicidal guy and himself.

so it has a happy ending then? not tragic?
Well, if you count Stockholm Syndrom as happy ending. It's kind of the same level as Killing Stalking. Disturbing but fascinating on a psychological pov.
