No, they were actually identical twins, separated at birth and growing up unaware of the others existence - this…
They got close fairly quickly as I recall. But....I can't remember exactly (I haven't watched it in a very long time), but I think they were together from about episode 13? I think it might've been a bit before, but there were misunderstandings or something that stopped them for a bit. However, if I'm wrong, I'm very sorry - still, I think I'm about right.
Oh god it was the same for me! I finished it only a few years after when I was ready for more trauma
Good on you for pushing past it. Kudos,.š i may try again but skip the really sad part, i don't think 5th time's the charm otherwise. It was just so heartstopping and the tragic.
Am I the only one not to make it past episode 2 - 2I've tried FOUR times, but cry too much and just don't have the heart for it. I hate to give up, but.....four times is too much crying for me.
Definitely sad but itās China. Canāt fight the communist craziness. Wish Taiwan had money to make these gay…
HIStory is NOT 'underground' and nor are the series, of which there are many, 'low quality and not worth mentioning'. I think you need to start watching Taiwanese LGBT dramas and movies again. They're really good.

Yeah, China was outraged at Taiwan legalising gay marriage just as they outlawed the LGBT community in China. But good on Taiwan for flipping the bird to the dictatorship in China.

Not sure how you come to that idea for Taiwan? Taiwan has legalised gay marriage, after a registration period to prove the relationship & cohabitation, but still, it's legal. China however has moved to make it illegal to be LGBT and even actively encourage friends and family to out their gay family members/friends to the authorities and then sign them up for 'conversion therapy' camps.
China has outlawed ANY LGBT entertainment, whereas Taiwan has openly encouraged the LGBT dramas like HIStory that usually have really acceptable and even happy endings for the gay couple.
So whilst the Chinese mainland is indeed reprehensible to the LGBT community, Taiwan is very open and accepting. Can't speak about HK because I don't know anyone living there. But I do know gay Taiwanese and gay Chinese couples...the latter are really suffering.
The original source material isn't BL, but I think the show hints at it, especially since the episodes were cut…
I think if the source material really isn't BL then it's fine and I'll watch. I just hate the butchering of BL novels for tv by censors. Thanks for the info! :)
I don't get the comparison. There are zero similarities. DAYS has a much more serious undertone, focused on philosophy…
[Quote] The gods have turned him into an immortal grim reaper who must come to the mortal realm every 99 years to ruthlessly punish humans for their weakness and frailty. He has come to despise humans and is now cruel and pitiless. [/end Quote]
This is very much like Doom at Your Service. Grim Reaper style immortal who loathes humanity and just comes to the world to mess with them. But it's fine if we don't agree, the world would be a boring place if we all thought the same. :)
Just wanted to say as someone who's only just learnt to crochet basics (at 57, lol!) I love your little dancer doll. She's an absolute beauty.
Thank you for the review too. I will probably watch it as I loved Go Go Squid, but it'll be in my 'slow watcb - episodes when I get time and don't mind skipping some' list. So thanks again!
Is this adapted from a BL novel into a bro series? If so, i shan't bother because the stories are usually so butchered by the censors that its pointless. I think the drama writers should just write their own bro stories , adapt actual bro books, that the censors will adore and NOT chop up because of their bigoted mindset against anything LGB. It's a great shame to see such beloved novels butchered because of a cruel ideology by a controlling and psychologically sterile regime.
Please reply to my comment if this series ever gets subbed (English) š
Same......I live in hope that one day it will be subbed. Thankfully someone's subbing the Thai version of Boss & Me, so there's always hope I think....
