After watching the first 3 episodes of "Brocade Odyssey", I felt like something was missing, so I switched to "The Blood of Youth", a wuxia series, because I wanted something more exciting. After 6 episodes of TBOY, I switched back to this drama, and the story gets more interesting for me starting from episode 4. Now I've watched up to episode 22, and so far the story's build-up, pacing and character development are good. I will go back to TBOY after this!
Hello! I know this is a bit late, so you've probably finished this by now. I just want to say that, yes, it's a happy ending for the main couple, but I also think it's a happy ending overall because the story wrapped up nicely and I'm satisfied with the ending.
Anyway, cheers to more good dramas this 2025! ๐ฅณ

Just a quick comment on the ranking of scholars and officials, commoners and working class. The order is: 1) Scholars and officials (Zhuang Yuan, Jinshi, Juren, etc.) 2) Farmers 3) Artisans / Tradesmen 4) Merchants
Or known as shi, nong, gong, shang (ๅฃซ่พฒๅทฅๅ).
I read in another group/forum that Li Yun Rui turned down a supporting role for a high profile drama (not sure which drama) to take on the role of Song Mo in "Blossom". That's a wise decision and good move for him!
