Watching this drama reminds me of a lesson in life: "The higher the expectations, the bigger the disappointment." I have never been so proud of myself for being able to finish a drama. Seriously. After months of pushing myself to finish this one (because, as much as possible, I don't want to drop a drama unless I really, really don't like it), I managed to watch the last two episodes of this drama yesterday. Yes, I'm a fan of Yoon Eun Hye, too, and she's the main reason why I decided to watch this, aside from the fact that my friend was spazzing over LTM after finishing it. I had high hopes for this one. I started watching it without knowing the comments of other people aside from that of the certain friend of mine and, well, after watching an episode after another, I found myself finding it difficult to watch the next. I didn't know that they changed scriptwriters until just a few moments ago. I guess that's the reason for whatever happened to the story which didn't really appeal to me. Although I have to admit that there are scenes that I found cute. Yes, the leads have chemistry, but I found myself cringing at their cheesiness halfway through the show. The side characters aren't even developed and seemed to me like they just existed for display. Err... at least I had someone who kept me watching it -- Park Hoon. (And it's not even because the actor's good or anything, but because I found him cute; I had to find something to look forward in seeing in order to finish this.) It's a given that YEH is a superb actress. It was my first time watching Kang Ji Hwan and, in my opinion, he's a good actor. The other casts are good, too, but there was something in Soon Joon's and Jo Yoon Hee's that seems lacking to me. Or I guess that's just because of their parts in the script. In my opinion, the soundtracks are good. I especially liked Goodbye, Really Goodbye by M to M. I don't really think I will re-watch this. Not even after 5 years or so. Or maybe I could re-watch the "cola scene", but... yeah. Overall, this is a fair show. There's nothing special in the story. I guess those who are new to watching dramas will like this. Or those who generally like rom-coms. Or those who can tolerate cheesy situations. I say my good luck to those who plan to watch this series. :)
