and they are already in my favorite 2018 dramas list -alongside mother and misty- even though they haven't ended yet ;p
wait is it Oh Goo Tak? ^^;
also, I liked hae ji's character and story line, I just feel that their part of the story was solved so there's no need to drag them back into the whole story again ;p
I mean if they look at any actor playing a psychopath and think that's their true nature, then no one would want to act...
maybe that's why half of the female leads in kdramas are the pure innocent type, because no one wants to take a more complicated role, especially if she's an idol -_-
this drama gives me a "just between lovers" vibe.. a drama about sadness and healing... I just watched 2 eps of this and I didn't even get bored, and this drama is more than 1 hour long...
She's not "perfect". She's not a "good" person. She's not strong. She's not special. She's not bubbly or smiley. She's poor and everything yet she's so different then the typical female leads and I love her for that...
I just wanted others to know some people might not like this....
And I never said I wanted a "perfect" female lead without faults, I just don't like this cliche type of characters, I prefer something more complicated...
This is just personal opinion, but I'm analysing the characters my way... all I see is Seung Joo complaining. Whatever the guy does she needs to find fault and lecture him, yet I've never seen her take charge or stand up for herself..
I liked that part where she didn't back down against those creepy couple, but I feel that the writers are ruining her....
Also, I really like Kim Kang Woo's acting, but he's character here is too "weak" as well.. too meddlesome.. overall this is not the right drama for me ^^
the 1 I deducted was for the times I got lost when they focused on the "evil guys"... I still think they should've gone with less eps so it'd be less dragy..
It's like, the 1st season was more about Park Hae Jin, then it was the team. As I remember they gave an ep or 2 explaining the background of each team member. While in s2 it was more about the corruption, plus it was a little more "realistic"... s1 was too idealistic, and s2 was the aftermath....
