Non-complicated love story. Nicely written plot. Right amount of comedy.

Ok so I binged this drama too fast. Also the fact being that it had only 10 episodes it ended quite quickly. All the characters fit quite nicely in the plot. I just loved the quirky friendship among the ladies. They were such good friends and each had something unique to their character. Like Yeseul being the youngest and the most naive in case of the men that she dates. For which she had been through too many relationships in such little time. For a job she probably works as pest controller(?) which is kinda not a usual job a female lead shown in kdramas does for a living. Despite doing such a job she does always look good. On the other side, the other bestie owns a cafe where she serves some really out-of-the-world drinks. For ex. spinach curry smoothie and the visuals of the drink is also very out-of-the-world. Gosh, i did creep out watching her serving those drinks. But then the customers reactions and her own poker face when serving them really cracked me up. And then the main female lead is also just so unique. Song Ha yoon is such a natural. She always has great chemistry with her male co-actors. No matter who she is paired with, she always amazes me with her charm. Also she is really good at acting drunk and she does it so cutely. The ex was pathetic for doing all that he did but I liked that he admitted his mistakes eventually and badly wanted to patch up. Although I would not approve of her taking him back but his character development did show that he did really love Ji Sung. Although they showed his arc as mere comedy but he did love her in reality. I liked that he didnt just plain harassed her after the break up or just sweep her under the rug like she meant nothing to him and move on to some other gal. Now the male lead, Lee Jun young really played this character very well. At times Gook hee was plain cold but he really is a cinnamon roll that gets emotional really quick. His voice tone is soo sweet. I just loved hearing him speak. I liked his character arc. He was sympathetic and gentle. Although he didnt know how to chase the girl in the beginning. He did try to hold onto the girl when she tried to reach him. I did feel frustrated when he didnt believe in Ji sung after the secret cam being sent to him. I felt like he should have given her a chance to explain when she had always been with through the highs and lows. But then the break up didnt prolong too much so that makes up for it.
Overall, I enjoyed this though I wanted it go on further but they wrapped it well in 10 episodes. Also it made me wonder how much we are depended on our phones. And how much of our personal details lies in this mere device. Is it really safe to be this depended on smartphones? When anyone can acquire all the private info just through peeping through your phone. Or if really such a tech was available could people's privacy ever be private?!
But it also showed the pros of a smartphone of how easier it has made our lives in the form of finding routes and translating to many more.
So I came back to this conclusion that it depends on how much you share yourself to these tech devices. How much of your personal life do you want to make public. It all depends on YOU.

Fluffy, Cute Romance.

It was a nice watch. Its been quite a long time since I watched a movie. Me watching this was very random. Since I kinda had a burnout from watching dramas for a while. Thankfully this was a good pick. Cute, fluffy and funny. It just needed more scenes of them together. The leads do have great chemistry together. Would love to watch more of them together. There dating scenes should have been explored more.
I had a bit of psychopath diary vibes with that curly hairdo of shi yoon's. His character also had similar vibes. Yoon shi yoon definitely should do more rom coms. He suits being a romantic hero.
Overall, worth watching. Give it a try if you wanna watch a romcom but don't wanna wait 8-10 eps for the leads to finally kiss.
PS. I am a simp for Yoon Shi Yoon.

The only JDrama that would love to binge again.

So I watched this while it was airing and it definitely was very engaging. I remember waiting every week to watch the next episode. Sakura nanase being refered to as the warrior and then her appearing in the costume was always so hilarious. Tendo Kairi was the typical cold ML but him being affectionate to patients was such a sight to see. What I liked about this drama is that they didnt sweep away the medical aspect of the drama. The medical and hospital scenes were relevant throughout the drama and also very realistic. All the patients and their stories felt so real. The ex was also not that over-bearing and hate worthy. Nothing was over the top or bland in the story. The cinematography was great specially when Kairi comes to Nanase's hometown and gives her a surprising backhug it was such a heart fluttering moment. I loved the way they shot that scene. I havent watched many jdramas and many of the times I was not that satisfied. But this Jdrama really hit the spot. Overall a good drama I would recommend to those who like me had hit or miss cases in Jdramas.

Good pacing. Realistic characters. Great display of timeline. Feel good drama about growth

This is the first time I have ever cried when a drama has ended..the ending was meaningful and heart touching. I still remember my school days and how I really wanted to grow up and be an adult. Have that freedom and be independent but now that I m an adult I miss those old days. Watching this I miss my old school friends tho I have contact with a only a few of my friends I miss them. I miss causing trouble at school. I miss all the fun we had together. I wish we still met and were in contact more often.
I hope it has another season or maybe just a spin off where we can see the weddings and maybe yating and jiaze together since they were the most popular kids at school and were shipped together. I m sad that this has ended and I literally cried out of joy when tianye proposed to cancan and I knew it was ending. The letter to her younger self was sooo right. Youth being the time where u learn from your mistakes, get to explore and dream about your life, about what you wanna be.
Also to all the people with second lead syndrome, Tao yating once said when all the girls met up at a restaurant/cafe and I kinda think she's right when she said if Lin Jiaze had a chance, it would have happened before Lan Tianye came back. I also felt why Meili wanted Cancan to consider Jiaze cause he's always been steady and a sure thing. Lan tianye was often misunderstood by many except for his best friend and his deskmate at highschool.
Dont get me wrong, I liked Jiaze but he always took a long time to get to.the point, including his second confession. Plus he never really had a chance once she was with Lan Tianye and truly loves him, whether they were together or not. And Lin Jiaze was always too passive about her considering her love letter, his postcard and even after Tianye returned. He was too confident once he knew Cancan liked him. Hence he didnt do anything about it cause he knew she liked him for a long time. You can tell by the video that they shot in their high school where he himself says he doesnt have anything to say. Proving that he was always too confident about himself. That he would get wherever he wants to be in the future. And then he realises and says how ferocious he was back then. Anyhow, a really nice feel-good drama to watch. Would recommend to everyone cause the characters and their journey to growth in life is so real and relatable that everyone can resonate with. Plus since the drama is set through the 2000s and me having lived through that era and watching all the aesthetics of the 2000s like the cassette tapes and video store and the keypad phones, the ipod and walkman and the old computers and the posters of old games at the cyber cafe really makes me reminisce the old times. This is a drama that really resonates with my youthful days. Not that I m old! I just entered my twenties previous year. Lol.
PS: I really was never into school dramas and teen love stories because I thought I was way out of that age zone to watch them..but this drama is a gem.

Well sorted plot.

So I just took a break from kdramas to watch something cringey cause of all the serious stuff I had been watching. I took this up by the title cause I felt that it might be cringey but boy was I wrong(not entirely). There were some cringey stuff here and there in the initial episodes. But the story was really well made. The characters were written so well and the casting was just perfect. So the story is like the ML is a ceo of a cosmetic company and the FL is a makeup artist, makeup blogger and influencer. She has a stress disorder which causes her into believing and living into someone that she actually cant be in reality. Even though it could look like a weakness but its more like a strength for her. Because whenever someone puts her down or tells her that she cant get this or be that, her disorder triggers. Gladly the ML is a gentleman and when he realises the reason behind her triggers, helps her into being her pretend boyfriend. Although he tries not to spend money and save money everytime which is surprising knowing that he's a rich guy. Meng hui's scar is something brings them together. Then Shen Yi realises she's the same girl who he hurt accidentally in the past and the scar is the memory of that incident. Though Meng Hui tries to stay positive and reassures people around her that she has forgotten the past and doesnt care about the scar but beneath she is still is effected by the scar. Now people might say that the scar is not that big of a eyecatcher but I guess thay couldnt just distort the heroine's face and also the fact that you cant judge what imperfection on one's face can cause someone insecure and vulnerable. Anyway, they really built good character development among the leads and everytime she switched to her other self it was such edgy and very unpredictable to what she would become. Hilariously, the staff of the LS planning department( and the 3 people of the crew of the beauty contest) always took whatever s#it happened everytime. One flaw is that how could they add anyone in the middle of the show cause of an absence of a contestant. They could of thought of some other way for ML to find out of the scar. But I guess they wanted it to look shocking and dramatic. Nevertheless they had some very sweet moments throughout the story. And the chemistry is really great. I saw some bts and they look really good together. Moving on to the other couples, I'll tell you that this is the what I love about chinese dramas. The second leads also get some happiness and love. No friendzoning. The psychiatrist-assistant couple was really cute. They were totally different character wise but were set well. The boy being passive and always being made fun of while the girl taking the wheel building this relationship. And him slowly realising that he loves her and wants to protect her. He was such a fluffy boy. The plastic surgeon-model couple were great together. Irony is that they looked mature and rather more experienced in dating stuff but were the slowest to progress haha. Overall good drama with some wholesome romance.

Lifetime trauma of Joon ho not getting the girl instead!

Well, as the headline says Joon Ho definitely deserved the Geum Jan Di. But then again she was stupid to go for the bad boy who clearly mistreated her the whole time. Bullying, abusing, cheating, ghosting. You name it what he hasnt done with Jan Di. I still dont get why this drama is hyped so much. Maybe it might be the F4, eye candy flower boys that marketed the title well. In the begin Jan Di was this wonderwoman who didnt stand injustice and bullies. But then during the course of the drama she became this miserable girl, helpless by love. Joon Ho helped her heal with all the wounds that Jun Pyo gave her. But eventually what did he get? Nothing! So sad. But then again when Jan Di liked him, he was into this other noona like older woman who rejected him. Damn these stupid woman in this drama. There were many fillers in the drama as well. Like them going on cruise ship for school trip, them horse riding and doing other sports to win the girl, organised by none other than the Jun Pyo's noona. Anyway, it can be a good past time but not something to make time for. Because not worthy enough.

Wholesome Plot.

The story took such plot twist in the end.. I never predicted this. It took me by surprise. Thankfully there was no love angle between the grim reaper and the FL..Though its not that I hated if it did happen.. but yeah I liked it that it was a character development for her to learn to live for herself and care about herself. Live life to the fullest that's what I picked up from it. Loved it! Though I kinda built up a small crush on Kuro on the way.. Recommended if you like short dramas with a wholesome plot!

Spineless Plot. Good way to waste time.

So I was bored and wanted to try a Kmovie since I have been watching only kdramas. And I felt that after Train To Busan, Kmovies might be really great since TTB was such phenomenal movie that brought in so many emotions in me. But I guess this was a low budget movie when I watched the first couple of minutes into the movie. So I didnt hold expectations. With nothing expected it was a good movie. I kinda liked the whole plot..that she was a very simple girl that never dated, had no experience in love or dating. But with just the help of a book she kind of started to get confident. She even played hard to get even though she has no dating experience just because the book said to take some time. But there's one thing I didn't get was if she liked her boss and he did too..then what was the problem in dating him when even she said it on his face that she likes him...?! That was a bit confusing. Also I get that she couldn't go for the academy since she has to look after her ill mom..but what was it that caused her to feel uncomfortable to face him??!
So plot wise it was really bland and nothing special about it. Acting was good. There were some familiar faces in it. But I wouldnt say you should make time to watch this because its not worth all that sacrifice. If you are bored and have nothing to do might as well watch it if you like. Or can put that time into something worthy. So I do regret that 1 hour I put into watching this. I guess I should have looked up some better drama to watch instead.

Breeze Of Fresh Air

This drama was such a breeze of fresh air. Everything felt so real. The doctors seemed like real people, real doctors. Wen Shao Qing was such a gentleman. Not the regular cliché male lead that manipulates female lead into marrying or dating or the possessive type to hold on to the famale lead not giving her the needed personal space. I liked the fact that they showed an actual doctor goes through daily life. They do have tough times standing and operating while standing for 20+ hours. How tiring it is that they have to get up move anytime there's an emergency.
The fact that Cong Rong was not a damsel in distress. She being a lawyer had a sense of responsibilty for justice. Shao Qing did help her a few times but she too gave him support when he needed her. There was mutual care between them. Which was heartwarming to watch. There were no cliché heartbreaks or the male lead getting overly jealous. They were just two people maintaining their personal and professional life responsibly.
I liked the hospital scene where they showed in parallel their present selves and their children selves
The second leads were just too cute together. They should get their own spin-off. Although I cried a few everytime he rejected her and she was heartbroken. Her misery broke my heart and I cried along with her on my bed at 2am in the night. But her character developed after several times being rejected. She became mature.
I liked that there were no rich-@$$ people in this drama who just threw money at whatever they wanted. They were just real people with real emotions.
This is the first time I m giving a drama 10 stars bcoz this never disappointed me. Cong Rong felt like a real lawyer with the knowledge of the law. While Shao Qing also seemed a real doctor at how he surgically sued the grapes..haha.
Great experience watching My Little Happiness. Highly recommended if you r looking for a wholesome Chinese drama.

A typical Idol Drama

Good drama..no cliches as such..quite predictable but also nothing too dramatic about the storyline. One thing kind of erks me is that Xiao Nai's love or liking to say began nowhere. He just randomly one day comes over to her seat on the basketball court marking his territory. It was kinda random for a guy to fall for a girl he never met, never spoke to. Nothing wrong with Wei Wei as she never spoke to this guy so her stance is normal. (Wei Wei is too skinny. Legs and arms are too thin and bony. Not that I'm criticizing her, just stating a fact)The guy is the regular perfect male lead always displaying heroic aura. He is perfect in everything and is capable of achieving anything and everything. I maybe wrong about him falling for her at the pc cafe or maybe right but the ending line that he says that "Had I known the....(cant remember the line sorry?) I would have fallen for you at first sight." What does he mean by that? Does he mean to say he didnt fall for her at the first sight..? That gives me mystery vibes as to how did he fall for her?? So if someone knows please tell me whats the case..
Anyway one really good thing in this drama was the friendship among the ML's friends and FL's friends. Those true friends are something to yearn for. True friends are really rare and that aspect is what I really appreciate. I also like the character development of Zhao Erxi of how she is heartbroken when she finds that the guy she likes, likes her best friend. She blames this on her best friend but then realises that its not Wei Wei's fault. And instead mends her friendship than going on and on about it.
The game factor was also really wholesome and refreshing. The graphics were of great quality. It was very refreshing to watch a girl being a gamer also really good at it. She was not stupid as the typical C-drama FLs are. Bei Wei Wei was a good character but at some times she gave out over reactions such as too much smiling.
Concluding as, good light hearted drama with good amount of romance and a wholesome display of true friendship.
