I absolutely love your review! I know i am late but compared to other reviews people seen to be completely oblivious of the problematic stuff blatantly romanticized in this yucky mess. I am so glad somebody was able to recognize and put it forward a sensible review.

Their is also the decade we have to consider in which the manga had been scripted, for eg the Hana Yori Dango has had the ML scripted almost 3 decades back and i guess we didn't have that level of awareness of how disturbing these actually are.
I also recently completed Saka no Tochu no Ie and i was surprised how the fl handled his controlling husband (it was different from consent ) making me question how far is okay and how much of it is should be forgiven.
