The normalisation of rape is so disgusting. After watching episode 11, I wanted nothing more than for Pop to go back to Mo and for Oat to be put behind bars. I know it's only a show but for a character to fall in love with their own rapist isn't cute. In psychology, such a thing might go to show that the rape victim had low self-esteem or is wanting to cope unhealthily. Sorry but if you're completely fine with this kind of stuff, I don't want anything to do with you. I'm hoping that they didn't really have sex and that this is revealed later because I really wanted to enjoy this show.

A few weeks ago I started seeing things on Instagram saying that Toey actually has a bad attitude and pretends to be nice in public. Was episode 12.5 the last one? It ends with Tee's death and the arrest of everyone else? Or is there another episode I'm missing? It said "To be continued" so I assumed there was another episode. Or did it say that because they intended on making a second season? If that's the case, it's a shame a second season never happened. I really want to know how things turned out. I know that Tee's dead but did Koi ever go to that school in Japan? Did Tok ever come out to the rest of his friends? Did Mon start a business and get lots of girls? Did they all go to prison? There's just so many questions. Though, I guess this series kind of stays true to its roots. The movie ended with Tee's narration and then a cliff hanger. The same thing has happened here.

Also, the movie was about a transsexual person because someone who is transsexual is someone who has had a sex change, and Champ fits that description. Anyways, this movie can be seen as offensive to transgender people because it turns the idea of being trans into a choice. In reality, people don't decide to be trans (but do decide on whether they want to transition). Champ got to decide he was going to become a woman, not because he was born a woman with a man's body, but because he felt like it. The movie also turned transitioning into something that is superficial. When trans people transition, it is to feel more comfortable in their own body. When Champ transitioned, it was to please someone else. Listen, Cam and I don't think trans people are being vilified. We just notice that this is an extreme misrepresentation of trans people and we don't like it. Neither of us are fighting anyone. All we did was express the fact that we don't like the message that came across.
Could Pound's mother's motive be that she wanted her son for herself? It showed throughout the show that they had a really close relationship, however, he began spending more time with Gale. Once she died, he moved on to Violin and Pimp. He was also really close to Joemy since they were trying to discover the culprit together. He still spent some time with his mother but it's obvious that he used to spend most of it with her before. For example, at the beginning of the show, the only two people who liked his picture was Gale and his mother. This shows how he didn't really have any friends aside from the two, and so he spent all of his time with what friends he had. However, before he became friends with Gale, all of his time would have been with his mother. Once Gale joined the picture, his time was divided. The more friends he got, the less time he had for his mother.
I've watched the other episodes (you can pretty much tell what's going on even without subtitles) and they're alright but definitely not worth my time.

I think you're right about the cultural differences. I'm actually biracial and have grown up in two different cultures. In my Western family, couples are very flirty and sweet while in my Eastern family, couples act more like they are close friends. The most I've seen my parents/grandparents do is compliment each other. They don't kiss each other goodbye or anything. It was only after my father got a European girlfriend that he started kissing.

He must listen to his seniors and show them respect no matter what. That's why he's different in this season. And he's a lot softer with Kongpob now because they've been dating for about two years. Most people get like that after being together for so long.
