I wonder who the official translator for the drama's english title is. It looks awfully like Google translate lol "About is Love" is just a literal translation of each word so it makes no sense at all. Should be "Approximately Love" or "Maybe it's Love" or "It's Probably Love"?
Michelle is truly a legend! And I'm so glad that people from all around the world are starting to know her after her entry into Hollywood. Before that she has always been famous but mainly in China. I love her attitude, her sense of humour, and her dauntlessness.
The fan guide was really well put together, keep up the good work! :D
Like Amy said, it's a happy endingIt's also a pretty good one imo. Feels "complete", unlike some others I've watched.
This one's happy ending also only lasts a few minutes but it closes up everything up nicely. The last few episodes also effectively address the remaining questions people might have. All the central character's arcs are completed, better than some dramas where characters suddenly disappear from the story when they are no longer relevant. There's one character I sympathised with that didn't have a good ending, but that's my only complaint.
The director said it's likely they won't be returning but he knows the fans would want the original cast so he…
I'd prefer a cameo appearance too showing their life after marriage. Having them play again as their children would be weird considering they are immortals and won't age (they can't have the same face as their kids and having older actors to play their original roles would be weird).
Frankly, I don't know how to feel about this drama. It's not like it's bad, there are some light moments sprinkled here and there, alongside some necessary drama and angst. But for some reason I just don't feel much about it. There aren't any big flaws, the story was engaging, the characters were unique and interesting, but just as there are no big flaws there are also no big merits that made this stand out for me. It was just an ok story played by an ok cast that I don't regret watching. The type of drama that is suitable for when you have a lot of free time.
P.S. Ariel Lin's acting was SUPER natural, down to even the smallest of gestures. Gotta give her a thumbs up for that! Dong Fang Shi was such an interesting and charming villain, I ship him with the FL. Vin Zhang's character fell bland towards the end.
Theres Chinese sources who said this two leads won’t be returning to season 2!
The director said it's likely they won't be returning but he knows the fans would want the original cast so he said when they start the production they will ask for the netizens' opinion.
Jin Mi was funny but I never liked her.... I never liked Phoenix... I dropped it after 17 episodes. I don't like…
Originally I felt the same too, but when I carried on, I realized how good it was. This drama starts getting good at around 20 something episodes actually. Then after around 40 episodes, it becomes a masterpiece that I can never forget. You should definitely give it another try ;)
