Doing things for the second time really gives new impressions. I rewatched the whole series from the start (although I rewatched the episodes twice or thrice when they come out). I appreciated the story even more. Like in the 1st ep when Han Min Xing (Actor) told her that how can Han Shuo's character fall inlove with Chu Chu being smart and strong when he was aware that women are superior in Huayuan. Also when she realized that dividing the countries by gender superiority is a mess. And how the little actions made sense through time that I didn't notice at first. Urgh! I really really really hope there's season 2. Please!!!

The ML is weak. He leaves all the fightings to other people. I mean, he needed help to fix his issues, and the helpers were neither paid nor 100% willing (their morales were just questioned so they agreed). He was a scholar, but never has he acted as one. Multiple times he dropped the exorcism enchantment book so I was hoping he'd atleast say them instead of only relying to the physical book (it was never mentioned that only the book is effective). Urgh! And when he refused to let go the girl's hand to be reincarnated? He was shown as a scholar who was pure, innocent and upright. Based on his nature, his instinct and first reaction should have been for the FL's own salvation than his desire to stay with her. Nothing can change one's nature and habits, even if you have strong attraction towards someone. The only time he was courageous was when he went into the enemy's teritory to save the FL, but even that was not much exciting. Not worth rewatching. The only thing I liked a bit were the fighting scenes. I liked how the Angel and Demon set a string trap around the battle ground to limit the Demon Hunter's movements. And the actions were fine. But the ML was just utterly weak, stupid and useless. I don't recommend.

So given that one of the tags is "rich male lead", then we can all guess that Suho will be the love interest here.

The trailer made me decide that I don't wanna watch it even though I like Park Min Young.

I was trying to search it in Mango TV but the special episode isn't available in my region. Sad. I wish someone subs it in the future. Huhu

MGTV has a lot of really good series but their subs are slow to come by. I don't mind paying for their VIP subscription however even that won't guarantee you the English sub until after a week. And most of the time, the subs are also messy. Their subs in YouTube are better than in their app which is weird. LoL. My only problem with their YouTube on the other hand is that sound are broken intently multiple times in the episode. Sad. They'd be perfect if they can provide decent subs for international fans in a timely manner like WeTV.

Yeah, happy ending. Romance from start to end. But not the cringey or draggy romance.

Oh, I watched that when it first came out. I even read the book. The TV adaptation was as good as the book.

Can anyone recommend any other dramas that give the same feels as this one? I need light stories with good character chemistry now. My emotions are pipping up, I need something to tie me up until I become stable again. Haha

Then Han Xue kept on saying that Han Che is her younger brother, while Gu Li was the same age as Han Che. So the ML is younger. I guess it was by 2 years at least. But their age difference wasn't given any mind in the story. It only mattered in Gu Li and Han Xue's trope because that's what hindered their relationship at first.

This post was what encouraged me to watch this. It was on my To Avoid list at first but decided to give it a try. And voila, I binged it in a day!!! It is an unexpected gem, indeed!

All the OSTs are great!!! My brain is still singing them.

Just completed this now and I can't get over it!!! Honestly, I was not planning to watch it at first but I saw a clip on YouTube so I got curious. This is such a gem!!! Will definitely rewatch this multiple times.
