I think my favorite thing about this show is all the people around them who know about the things that happened in the past and they know these two have forgotten and they just...stand by and watch and just say noting.

Okay, I don't know if Gu Jian will get worse later in the show but in the book, he's really creepy! Like none of the things he does are ok! He has no respect for Xiao Feng's autonomy. It's really annoying because I initially liked him better but the more I think about it, the worse his betrayal is.

I don't think Xiao Feng is irresponsible but I also think Chengyin's actions make sense based on the situation he is in. Getting the crown is not child's play, of course you'll have to get your hands dirty.

I am loving this show. It is so well made! The story is so beautifully told, the acting is great even from minor characters (especially the senior cast), the cinematography, oh the cinematography, is GORGEOUS. I know it's going to end with an explosion but the journey is perfect.
