So apparently, future cdramas should be 40 eps or less. This makes me wonder if that's why SPL is now 40 eps+ 6 bonus eps. Now I am seriously worried about immortality and how that will all work with 50 eps. People complain that cdramas are too long and 98% of those complaints are fair but 2ha is a 311 chapter book so 50 eps is a fair number of episodes for its adaptation and I just don't know what's going to happen. Maybe 2 seasons with 25 episodes each?

That is so obviously the opposite of "we made it straight" so can everyone calm down and stop spreading fake rumors made by haters and others who want to make this show fail? There are shows in cdrama land that have been in limbo for half a decade! I think we can all survive a delay of few months before rewriting the plot of the whole book. Gosh, the meltdown by the fans is worse than the silly rumors.
