Yup, I noticed it too but somehow it feels like a goose chase thrown in by the writers… or is it??

Finally watched this after long time of hesitation, and quite honestly the romance was really good and I personally thought that the chemistry between the leads was there, they were cute together and posed for a different dynamic than the usual bottom/top trope. However, the fantasy element was severely lacking and felt like something from a kids’ show and was there merely for convenience. But I guess this a BL and not a fantasy show so the focus lies elsewhere *shrugs* Would recommend for the cuteness and the lack of toxic characters :)

The weird thing that bugged me in the first episode is that they don’t seem to film their faces from the front?? Since these actors are new to me I sort of tried to get a good look at their features but they were constantly shown in profile. Nothing that makes or breaks this show quite honestly, I just couldn’t put my finger on what annoyed me until I realized 😅

Well, this is a big cringe fest! Haha I guess I’ll watch it anyway.

I thought it was cute and simple, fits better for a binge watch. Expected it to be horrendous according to some of the comments/reviews here so I avoided it for awhile… but didn’t really have to. It was a light watch with pleasant visuals.
