I’m on ep 3 and don’t understand the negative reviews/complaints at all? This show still got me hooked, sure, I don’t care as much about all characters that are left from S1 but the story still keeps on giving imho. The world building keeps expanding (at times S1 felt just like an old PS game with those monsters casually trolling outside the building). Not sure how much we’ll see of Hyeon Su going forward but so far I don’t feel at all that he’s not one of the mains or that he’s not in the show at all. All through S1 the show didn’t always focus solely on him, it kept jumping around between the cast as much as at it does in S2 (so far at least). TLDR; So far so good 😊

Not a fan of the CGI monsters (personal preference) but otherwise the show is really good at its core, fast paced since there’s quite a few characters to follow - characters with good fleshed out backstories. It kept me hooked all the way throughout. Would’ve liked more insight into Hyeon Su’s mind and how he deals with the monster/curse. Didn’t mind the OST (that warriors song) kinda miss it in S2 actually.

No worries, I binged the show so I’m on S2 now 🙈

I’m on episode 3 so no spoilers please but do we get to know how people get infected and how/when Hyeon Su got infected?

At some point it feels like they stopped showing the story and instead started telling us what everything means through imposed dialogue/exposition, wish they had used the build up in the first episodes more for everything that came after episode 8 or so, for a more seamless storyline. With that said, still a cute drama, but I couldn’t get through the first episode until I started watching it along with a reaction channel.

I don’t quite understand what this series is about… can someone explain? Started watching 1st ep but without a clear premise I can’t be bothered to care about whatever’s going on. 🫠

I have mixed feelings about this one, there’s something missing (for me) but I can’t really pinpoint it. Perhaps the characters are just too two dimensional somehow?

About Ji-Su’s death, I think Death says in one of the episodes that she would’ve died anyway but the circumstances just turned out different. So I don’t think the gf died because of Yee-Jae, it would’ve happened with or without him. But that’s my take on it.

It think it was more of a learning journey for the ML, the revenge was pointless in the grand scheme of things and just a side quest until Yee-Jae realized what/who was actually important in his life. The writes threw us for a loop here.

I have the same questions 🥲 but I think that the deaths of all those people will still happen unless something changes… considering that the incident that snowballed everything into motion (that first guy dying seven years ago) has supposedly already happened. It would’ve been interesting to see what Yee-Jae might have done with the knowledge he now possesses. I’m sure he’d want to save Ji-Su.

I loved both parts, it connected well through the whole story. Each finale more on the emotional side rather than action packed.
