Don't get me wrong, I like slow dramas. But tbh, each episode could have easily been 1h max, or even 50 mins. Like in ep 5 I think, when the FL was waiting to go in gray witch's office. It lasted for like 3 mins! She was in a cafe, than standing and waiting and looking at the door... like I dunno. Watched 6 eps already and feel like it could be condensed to 3-4 eps. And the ost feels really cheap. Especially the opening and ending feel like from a show from 90s-00s and feel out of place. Also, the show is really hard for non-koreans to understand. I know a bit about Korea, but hell, some of this school stuff is harder to understand than a political drama.
I know that I'm complaining about minor things, I'm still trying to watch more and make an opinion on the rest of the show... for now, nothing extraordinary, I don't really have a connection with the leads yet. Don't feel like they have any specific goal or struggles? Like, I don't feel like there's a lot on the line. I get that the FL has to find her old self and all, but I don't really see she's that much different? And the ML just wants to earn some money I guess. He excels in everything for now so is there even room for growth? Dunno...
people need to stop being so stinky about everything. they will always find fault in everything. this kdrama literally…
Lol. You know that you can have a drama that's funny, unserious, sarcastic AND good? Smh, people need to stop being so mindless and giving every drama 10/10 for just existing.
Beautiful show through and through. I'd say, a modern youth classic, like 25 21. Every high school student and…
Ep 30 - best confession scene ever (I mean the teachers). Worth waiting for, for those 30 eps. After much hesitation, I watched the last 10 mins of ep 30 and it's not bad at all? I agree with what was said by the Chinese teacher on the show. We can love somebody else now, but it doesn't mean our past love wasn't true. All the beautiful memories we have - none of them can be erased. So even if the students got divorced / separated, they still had plenty of meaningful and happy moments together. What's important, is that they are still supporting each other. And as for the teachers - they were always arguing anyways. I don't believe they can ever separated forever. They are pretty much destined for each other. They are just a bit too stubborn and hot headed. With the last minutes of the show, I don't see how it could be considered a bad ending.
Damn, are those youth dramas leaving a toll on my poor heart...
Beautiful show through and through. I'd say, a modern youth classic, like 25 21. Every high school student and their parents should see this. Very well reseached show, presenting multiple perspectives on life, and admitting that there is simply no one right way to live it. People can be wrong, but can redeem themselves if they wish to change - even if their mistakes will never be fully erased.
I usually add few criticisms to my final comments, but here I really don't feel like it. Maybe the show was a bit too dramatic for our ML in the last eps, but I can look past it. Over all, I'm in love. Sang Xia best girl. Cried a river.
This drama is fantastic. No idea why so little people have watched it! One of the best chinese dramas imo, and especially within the 'modern' type of dramas. The characters are lovable but realistic, there is a lot of drama so it never feels stagnant and boring, and it's just so well researched and balanced. It's realistic but never fails to be very hopeful at the same time. Love the duo of 2 teachers - none of them is 100% correct in their way of thinking and teaching. I still have to decide if I want to watch ep 30 tho...
Ehh I came here looking for a poster or sth, but got the info that it's pushed to october instead -,- just days after announcing the august premiere....
I got so invested in the first few episodes... and then I just got bored. There are just too many misfortunes happening to the FL. I didn't notice her being clever at all tbh. She's very emotional and pretty unlucky. Like the bartendress' boyfriend is just too much, why add him there? It's not very realistic. It's not a revenge story either, and it isn't fully commited to be a makjang. Many annoying characters, no one to root for - I don't get any satisfaction from watching this anymore... Like I see the production value and the acting is allright, but I'm disappointed overall.
Not sure if you have your answers already, but it was heavily implied that Sol still spent a lot of time in the…
Thank you for the reply. However, even after assuming all of that happened and she wasn't pushed to the present for some reason, her friendship with TS should be on halt when the 'young' Sol comes back to power. Unless of course he was waiting for her knowing that she'll be back after 15 years... cause 'young' Sol would rather be his gf than his friend. Anyway, my point is, the time travel doesn't really make a lot of sense in this series...
It's clearly shown how the sfl and her brother fell for each other.
Well it changed at least TS's fate - they were never a couple. Honestly, some things were changed, and some weren't, and we never really got any explanation. I just wished there was a bit more thought put behind it...
Are you really asking how Sol become friends with Tae Sung? She has to make sure things are handle right. She…
Well they sure wasted a lot more time showing umbrella flashbacks in the last 5 episodes. Besides, TS mentioned that they've been friends for last 10 years, and she was back to 15 years ago. So it seems to me that he became friends with 'younger' Sol from between the time skips. And yeah, it would have been nice to see imo.

Damn, what a great place mdl became, that I get such a passive agressive comment for a simple criticism. It was never explained how and why the time travel works. And especially the last time travel - didn't that erase all previous time travels? Like TS never being FL's boyfriend. So yes, I don't remember them ever explaining how the secondary couple got together. Especially that FL's family moved very soon. Sigh
I was looking for this review! Couldn't agree more. I really enjoyed the show, but if you asked me what happened…
I just couldn't shake the feeling that no man would wait for a woman for 15 years and not get into other relationship, especially that he doesn't remember her/ know that she loved him... But it's also fitting here, I can't deny 😆 they delivered it so well
I was looking for this review! Couldn't agree more. I really enjoyed the show, but if you asked me what happened in those 16 eps - I wouldn't know what to say, apart from a lot of fluff 😆 I wouldn't say I agree with the overall rating it got, as it's crazy high, but I can't really be mad at it, like with some other overrated shows. It could have been a lot more, but I'm also content with what we got.
It's pretty nice! Tho a lot of things could have been done better. The whole murder mystery didn't do it for me. The time travelling was a mess (especially the final timeline, why did the 2FL get together with Sol's brother? And how did Sol become friends with 2ML? So many questions), and secondary characters could have gotten more screentime overall. But the chemistry between the leads works really well. Recently in dramas I started noticing that the creators don't know how to keep the romance going after main leads get together, and we get way too little scenes of main leads together. Here we got a lot of them, so pretty neat I'd say! Definitely an unrealistic (even without time travel), but a really compelling and conforting show.
Woah, what a reach. From the series' bad rating, to global catastrophe. Let me tell you, while I wholeheartedly…
The current state of the world isn't only a product of the past; it's the result of ongoing bad decisions by humans of all ages -> Right. But our youngest generations had barely any time to participate in that, being, like I said, adult for like 10 years tops. When they are in position of power, then you will have the right to judge and criticize them. Right now, there is no way of knowing, and especially blaming them for things they haven't done yet.

> Mountains of waste - do you seriously believe that it was caused by, at most, 30 year olds? Who have been legal adults for just over a decade? > Following latest trends - as if younger generations didn't follow trends while they were teenagers/young adults... Sure. Sigh. Why am I not surprised to see this below 8.0... Its so solid so far, but no sexy oppa as the ML = automatically…
Woah, what a reach. From the series' bad rating, to global catastrophe. Let me tell you, while I wholeheartedly agree on MDL's ratings (tho for me, a 7.5-8 rating is okayish, but yeah, a lot of romcoms' ratings are inflated nowadays), older generations have quite a trackreckord of destroying the world. The pollution, climate catastrophy, the wars that are going on rn - all thanks to the people that are in their 50s-80s rn. So your comment is truly laughable to me.
