Overall tho, a very solid and entertaining show. I don't mind the ending, apart from a few plots (the presentation went too bad for them to win, and the investment they negotiated was too good to be true), I think it's not that unbelievable. Just wish that some characters got a worse ending, as they really deserved a failure (namely: Han Se Kwon... At least that bastard is working alone now, not messing with others' lifes). But I like how there is no good character here. Everyone is just a bit gray.
The whole dismissal plot (of the ML) was soo weird. He's the one behind a lot of company's successes and he's developing a key project, which is already hella understaffed. Why are they insisting on letting him go, just because of his age? Especially that they were wise enough to let him survive the layoffs in the previous company. Does that really happen? If so, I'm really out of words. These companies really deserve to go under.
This show has some TERRIBLE sound mixing. It's usually hard to tell if sm is good or bad, cause it's barely noticable (and that's the point). But here, the conversations and music clash with each other so hard...
It's starting to get a bit makjang-ish, but I don't hate it. Also, this episode really makes it clear who has the most interesting plot and development - not the young cast, unfortunately
I'm curious what you guys think about PO's acting..?
I'm really torn. At the same time, I feel that he's portraying his character pretty well, but sth feels off. He has a really unusual face I guess? I keep thinking how the character would be portrayed by other actors. Cause I can't lie, his character really stands out in this drama in one way or another
I also have to give a shout-out to 2ML (I mean the painter). He was always supportive, never got in the leads' way, thanked the ML whenever he felt he should, never lied to FL about ML doing something for her. True man!
The business plot is no good in this one. But the romance and the ML's character was FIRE. I was tired recently of dramas portraying MLs like total love fools, clumsy and cute with barely any character to them. And this drama, with incredibly flawed ML, but yearning for love deep inside, was just what I needed. The romance part is pretty realistic for a drama (maybe apart from show's middle part). So even though ML IS cruel, IS a douchebag, I want to see more and more of him, and the moments when he smiles or is adorable are way more valuable. And his flaws are what makes it possible for him to change! FL was ok for me, nothing special, but ML was superb, as a character (def not as a friend or coworker tho xD)
honestly, im so much more excited about the second lead couple, ill young and miho..I can feel the butterflies…
Their hotel scenes were so hot. I was wishing for more. I don't understand why they have so little screentime together... especially that the misunderstanding was so easy to fix... Him just telling her that it was his lack of confidence or sth...
Honestly, lately Netflix has been really missing out on the most viral / popular dramas. So not really surprised. More movies is definitely a good thing, especially that they are not really available anywhere legally.
