I didn't know it could get more cringy after the flamenco part. But first her 'I'm not going to tell you what I'd like to eat, I only want you, I only like you hehe' and then just after the emotional scene with the mum she is walking around hugging herself and painting her mother's figure in the air? Damn, that's some weird directing choices. It was more comical than emotional to me.
I've never been able to connect with Ahn Hyo Seop, I've tried watching so many of his dramas but I just do not…
I feel like he's been playing more or less the same character every time. So he's acting became a little bland for me. I'd be more excited for a different ML for sure.
I can't really get into FL's character. Sometimes she seems too distant to everything and other times when she's with ML she's overly passionate. It is a bit offputting. She's not really relatable, and I don't know how will they make her seem like actual human being and how will they give her proper character development, cause for now it feels like there's no place for it. (Also the flamenco part was so cringy...)
I feel like instead of actual resolution to conflicts, everything was handled in an overly simplified way. As…
I agree that ep 16 didn't feel rushed, but it was because of the fact that they decided to not mention some things, and bring a reaaally oversimplified and convinient solution to other plots.
I feel like instead of actual resolution to conflicts, everything was handled in an overly simplified way. As a result, we got a final episode filled with monologues we've heard before and no actual action. We didn't even have a proper operation? Everything happened off-screen.
Instead of actual confrontation with the assemblywoman, they won her over with the power of love and friendship. By operating in hospital which is full of suffocating smoke, which noone remembers apparently after the rain starts to fall.
The younger doctors were never truly shown, that admitting nontrauma patients to trauma centre will have bad results. Everything became KDJ's responsibility, the one person who wanted to have it under control.
CEJ remained a stubborn kid right till the very end. And why? Cause she had a beef with KDJ about her falling asleep while operating, which was valid in the first place! But she got over it so no she acts like it was never a problem lol and now KDJ was in the wrong apparently. Laughable.
Everybody being mad at KDJ because he's bringing new people? Never mentioned again.
Overall I feel a lot of missed potential, especially with KDJ. I know that they didn't have time, but they should have realized it sooner in the season.
I feel like there are quite a few popular younger actors I liked in their first big role, but then they never really lived up to their potentials in my eyes. Whereas with LDH he shines more and more. He does get a lot of similar roles, but I feel like every one of them hits different. I look forward to seeing him in more dramas! (But he'll probably enlist into military soon, sigh)
It was pretty good! But had a lot of flaws nonetheless, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a masterpiece. All the flaws were mentioned by the commenters so I pretty much expected & accepted them coming into the show. There were a lot of simplifications, but at least I feel that the majority of plots were given a pretty satisfying conclusion. Worth watching for the actors -I knew that LDH and RMR will not disappoint, but AEJ was also something else.
The writers have definitely made Kim sabu gentler along the seasons. I just watched s1 recently i can say with…
That would be a valid plotpoint - that Kim Sabu's approach changed with a different generation, and now KDJ cannot imitate that, as younger people are different. But CEJ is supposed to be 3-4 years younger than KDJ. That is not a different generation. I understand Kim Sabu not yelling at her anymore, but he didn't even properly reprimend her for her actions in ep 13, when she took on his patient without authorisarion...
Haven’t watched the latest episodes yet but I did read a bit of the spoilers ahead … and I’ve just came…
I agree with you on Woojin, he was a bit arrogant in ep 13 but I wouldn't call him annoying, I see a character development for him in those 2 eps. But Eunjae was out of character in ep 14, very irresponsible. This is not character development, she is acting like a teenager and not a 35 year old. People have the right to call her annoying in my opinion. She truly did make my blood boil. Maybe there's a redemption arc for her, but I'm afraid that most of it will be swept under the rug.
What angers me the most, are the nurses. Like what was their reason for boycott? That they have another thing to do (the blood fridges or whatever) and KDJ didn't ask their opinion? Or that they don't take patients from Doldam, which gives them less things to do at the time? I am really iritated at the simplification of treating them as a crowd with no own opinions. They followed just because the plot needed them to. No reason behind it. They didn't even try to talk to their boss, like what the hell. Lazy writing here.
About CEJ, most of the things have been said already... She's supposed to be 35 here, yeah no way. She needed a proper scolding from master Kim, not a pad on the head. Like wow, she did wrong and feels like she's the victim here. I get that KDJ was in the wrong for yelling at her in the middle of operation. But other than that, her being mad about him doing her work or about new doctors coming, that's just rubbish. I instantly disliked her a lot. Thought she's better than that.
