Yes, sometimes when a romcom ends I'm like - the leads are so differens from one another, how will they cope and work through the actual hardships? But here almost every major difference between them is adressed and resolved. I feel that they truly will be together till the end.

Yeah, I know that, but they didn't know that from the autopsy, they learnt it from Jae Joon's reaction

The recording stopped the moment Yeon Jin flooded Myeong Oh's phone, so it wouldn't lead to the assistant anyway.
They did the autopsy and checked the father? Sorry but could you lead me to exact timestamp? Cause from what I can recall, the main leads knew he wasn't the father but it was from Jae Joon's reaction, I don't remember anyone talking that the autopsy happened..

On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Mar 20, 2023
The one thing I live the most about this drama is that in most cases it doesn't just forget character's mistakes. Like, Zisheng asks NN to marry him very abruptly, in front of everybody and she agrees, and it isn't just like a fairytale dream for them from that point onwards. On the first watch I thought that it's kinda bizarre for her to agree and that the writers will try to convince us that she loved him all along and she just needed to understand it through a flashback. But no, they argue, she holds a grudge for a long time, and even when she starts to develop her feelings, it's still an uphill battle. One of the best love stories ever, cause it just doesn't leave us with a happy ever after, it actually shows us the couple working out their differences for a long, and I mean long, time before they finally get a happy ending.

UHM I THINK BECAUSE HE WANTS TO PERSONALLY SAY TO CHANMI THAT HE WAS DATING HER BROTHER? AND UNCOVER THINGS PERSONALLY?
Of course, it's definitely worth the plane ticket money xD

The autopsy was not mentioned as the lighter and skin under nails of the second corpse, proved her involvement…
Yeah I know that they weren't used, for various reasons. My point is that when you have so many evidence that the FL could use for her revenge, the show lacks suspense. You're not at the edge of your seat wondering if she'll complete the revenge till the very end, you already know she has enough to bury Yeon Jin by like ep 14

Title The Glory Part 2 Spoiler
After giving it some thought, I think the last 2 episodes lacked suspense because the FL just had too much on Yeon Jin. There wasn't like a chase for a piece of conclusive evidence, cause they already had enough by that time. So much that even some things weren't used!
- Autopsy on So Hee's body was never mentioned
- The FL didn't have to testify on her own experience at all (and neither did Yeon Jin's assistant, but that is even more understandable lol)
- Yeon Jin's handbag chain that they even returned to her
- The recording of Myeong Oh and Yeon Jin (sure, the FL didn't get it, but it was something that was out there)
- Ofc the name tag, but it was explained how it couldn't be used

Actually in a lot of the comments I see people mention that they loved LDH in 18 Again and have nothing against noona romances. Id be the first one to point out a bias, and maybe some people are like that, but for me they just had no chemistry

It's not perfect, especially ep16 could be better, and the romance didn't do it for me, but still the best revenge kdrama for me. I feel like with a second watch I'd notice more plotholes, but for now I feel like most of the plots were connected pretty well.

Also an unpopular opinion - I know that the FL was supposed to have no emotions and dead eyes and SHK delivered, but I still can't get it out of my mind that a different, better actress could have made the show even more spectacular.

Can someone suggest me other revenge drama with satisfied ending (not like weak hero) and no forced romance.
Most are pretty mid. I guess my favourites with revenge plot, but maybe not in the center, are sky castle, penthouse s1-2, and the untamed is kinda there also haha

Don't get me wrong, I def didn't enjoy the wait, but I feel that splitting it in half really made the drama way more hyped. I feel like if this was released all at once, we would have forgotten it already. It is also a perfect drama to split, nobody would have waited so long for a romcom. So I kinda understand Netflix this time

He didn't do anything more? Just cause he was trying to act like a person with amnesia. After he revealed the truth to FL, he made her sign a slave contract, didn't allow her to go home late at night just because, was pretty much torturing her emotionally. And sinse you will probably answer that it is justifiable cause of her revenge on him - it is his presumed love interest and we're 7-8 episodes in already, so it was pretty disgusting to me.

Also, I don't wanna push US morals on anyone as I have never even been there lol. Plus, korean culture being a certain kind of way doesn't mean I can't expect better from a ML in a romcom especially that we're supposed to like him in the end, but everything good he's done for his employees was because of FL's revenge.

He was actively mistreating everybody in the company, forcing them to work overtime, shouting at them, focusing only on results and the money they bring him. That aren't no " those supposedly terrible things " z this is heavy mobbing and he should be facing heavy lawsuits. Just because he apologizes once, and because the FL - not him! - takes action to improve the working conditions in the company, it isn't "paying for it".

Don't worry, you're totally right to share your view. I have no idea why some people think that you're not allowed to give a critical, but well-balanced and sensible opinion but rather drop it and don't speak another word. It's a place for discussion for God's sake

The 'crazy' FL of the end of the first episode / start of the second indeed never appears again. Or at least not…
Unfortunately very true...

Title Crazy Love
I realised I have problems with romcoms with a significant power imbalance. It's really hard to do it well, and there are 2 ways to do it: assuming the ML is a wealthy CEO or similar, the FL has to have a really strong character if she works under him (re: what's wrong with secretary kim, strong woman DBS, Business Proposal), or the FL has a totally different line of career and his power can't affect her that much. Here was the worst possible combination for me: a bossy, wealthy CEO and his timid secretary. Her falling in love with him was so bizarre. Not one moment did I feel that they are on the same level. Kim Jae Wok is fantastic in his role, but Krystal was just disappearing when with him, whether it was because of her acting or the script. It was cool the few times she got angry at him, but it was few and far between.

Also, most of the comedic elements just didn't work for me. Im Won Ter just plays the same role in every show he's in and I didn't even enjoy it the first time. I felt like no effort was put into it.

Overall, a disappointment for me but I cen see why others may like it.

Well I guess you're right overall - it was good that she provided a reason to vote against her brother, but if I'm correct, no one except her grandpa and Woowon Group's chairman did? So she might have affected the overall feeling towards her brother among the shareholders, but not the voting itself.

Also, looking back - was Hanna's presentation really necessary? Title Agency Spoiler
To me, eps 15 and 16 were kinda underwhalming - I wish that we got more focus on Ah In's personal life, some more scenes with her mother, maybe her starting to go on therapy or going on a date? All of those plotlines didn't get a proper ending imo. I feel like after ep 14 when she showed her morality and not being a pushover she didn't get any more proper development.

They spent way too much time on the fight over VC's position. I never really cared about it or Hanna's plotline overall. Neither Hanna nor her brother are competent enough for that position. Therefore, I liked how the proper businessman won in the end.

Also ending it with Ah In establishing her own company felt a bit out of place - for a show that convinces you for 15 episodes straight that it's hard to enter that business when you're not part of a conglomerate, and that earning money is not easy, it felt too much like a fairytale.

Don't even get me started on that ridiculous plot with the grandma and the father agreeing to Aji changing his name... what is with this spoiling... Or can maybe someone tell me if it's that uncommon and weird name in Korea, then fine I guess...
