That's great news! Fans in the Americas are hoping Netflix makes it available here too. Enjoy watching.
When Netflix premiered Park Hae-jin's "Man to Man" (which is JTBC just like "Life") it didn't come to Netflix-USA until after the final episode. Also, "Man to Man" didn't appear on any of the licensed sites (Dramafever, OnDemandKorea, Viki), only on Netflix as far as I know. "Life" concludes in September. I would be really surprised if it isn't on Netflix-USA if it is truly coming to Canada and Brazil which other fans have reported.
Thanks so much for sharing the links for fans!Actually, I've noticed on Viki's fan channels, the 'following' count…
The dubbing can be very annoying, especially when the timing is off. My interest in Chinese drama started with the 2000 movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". I'd never seen the wuxia genre so it was strage and new to me. I definitely watch way more Korean drama than Chinese. I never dreamed I'd be doing this in my retirement years too. My daughter goes with me to see Korean and Chinese movies, but doesn't watch dramas. Except she did watch "City Hunter", "Faith", and "The Good Doctor" with me. My husband tries to watch but can't keep up with reading subtitles and watching the show. So, I'm really happy to have a community of fans like you to share my comments with.

Ha ha, you're right I have to be careful of watching too many series too. But I think it's good for our 'old' brains because watching is an 'exercise' in remembering. When watching Chinese costume dramas I always keep their Wiki page open to use as a reference guide. So many names, and different kingdoms to remember. I'm watching three Chinese costume dramas now that I really enjoy: "Oh My General", "Untouchable Lovers", "Secret of the Three Kingdoms", and "Nirvana in Fire". Trying to avoid the summer heat, it's been 112 degrees + so I'm being reclusive to stay cool. So glad there are so many dramas to watch, lol.

Hi bmore, You're welcome. Yes, the licensing is a bit of a mystery to me too. I've been told by a Vikier (volunteer staff) that JTBC has a contract with Dramafever and Netflix, hence the shortage of JTBC dramas on Viki (there was one exception recently --that I'm aware of--Viki got "Just Between Lovers" ) otherwise either DF and/or NF has gotten rights to JTBC dramas at least from this year. The only two 2018 dramas from JTBC that appear to be undecided are "Clean With a Passion..." and the drama remake of "The Beauty Inside" (neither of these has broadcast yet). Regarding, "Life" on NF. I can't remember the drama but before when NF Asia picked up content we got it in the States after the conclusion of the drama. Which is fine with me because I usually start a drama after it's concluded. Ah, I think it was Park Hae-jin's "Man to Man". I'll post if I hear any news about "Life".
International actress Kim Yoon-jin stars in Korean drama after 19 years as "Ms Ma, Goddess of Revenge". I'm sending a title request form to Viki because I would love to see her in a new drama. Title Request Form: https://vikiinc.wufoo.com/forms/z1ovcsxe011lqq2/
I've read NF will premiere "Life" in the UK and Asia on August 4. Has anyone seen news about "Life" broadcasting…
Thanks.
I heard Netflix Asia confirmed release and I'm assuming the States will get the drama after its conclusion. If I hear anything new I will certainly post here.
be sure to 'favorite' this on Viki (see below) and here: https://www.viki.com/tv/36181c-todays-private-investigator…

Actually, I've noticed on Viki's fan channels, the 'following' count usually stays at 1 (one) until a Channel Moderator has been assigned. Then it will display the accurate number of followers. I don't know why it works this way, think it should be corrected to represent the actual number of followers.
I liked this drama for its shortness; however because it was shortened, a lot of character relationship development…
Sort of off topic, but Yeon Jung-hoon and So Yoo-jin (Five Enough) have been cast as leads in new weekend drama. MBC weekend drama "My Healing Love", September 2018.

That's great news! Thanks for letting us know. Nothing comes up for me (in the USA) when I search. Hope we hear something soon.
