One thing about him, he knows how to pick a good script šš¾šš¾
agreee !!!!!! I actually think that talent is also about this. As an artist, reading a script and understanding it, grasping the universe, deciding whether to accept it or not, seeing what it can bring to the project or notāthat also requires talent. Thatās why actors like him can be trusted, because his projects are surely interesting. Like in Korea, for example, Park Bo Gum represents this in the younger generation....etc
Ahh, dramas⦠we all know how this will end:Her father will suddenly come back, realize she was married by mistake, then…
"Iām looking for possible niches for the plot..... The only possibility is that she isnāt the real daughter of this woman but was adopted for political or other reasons⦠or else, on the boyās side, renunciation of his status
this is a mess. clearly their romantic entanglements with others are getting out of hand where at some point after…
Ahh, dramas⦠we all know how this will end: Her father will suddenly come back, realize she was married by mistake, then reveal that sheās actually not poor at all but from a noble family ā a secret, hidden daughter, of course. Then theyāll cancel the marriage over some serious fault, followed by a dramatic accusation, a condemnation
21. Praise the heavens šššš For the first time, itās the girl playing the piano to impress the guy ā not the other way around. I was already expecting him, as usual, to strut around like a peacock in front of yet another dazzled girl. Thank you, thank you
No words, in lovee with this drama ā a "feel-good" drama in the style the Chinese do, but FOR ONCE , in this genre, itās exceptionally well done! Nothing to add or complain about
itās really unfair. The rare times when the SML is so well-developed, and ml Too . and their story ( with SML) is genuinely complete togetherāwhich really deserved its own rom-com without a love triangle (oh, how I hate those triangles)āand the chemistry is excellent, itās really destabilizing to have both at the same time, as if you were watching two excellent love stories in parallel.
yeah overly melancholy of Ho-Jin, and his overthinking behavior really annoyed me.But like you said, first part…
Thank you for your very precise analysis as well, you are completely right. I enjoy nuanced readings⦠I noted exactly the same sentence from this writer Kim myself.

I think the series explores deeper themes. She has a direct character, while he is indecisive and calculates all the possible consequences (also because of his own traumas and personality). Above all, it shows that even though he understands seven languages, he doesnāt understand (at least until episode 8) the language of this girl ā what she is really trying to say. Meanwhile, the interaction with the Japanese character is shown, where, without understanding the language, they ultimately understand each other much better emotionally. That is actually the meaning of the series, and I love this idea.
I also like the writer character. He is well written and well portrayed, and he functions as a "driving force" ā a character who moves the story forward, pushes the narrative, and offers a kind of āphilosophical conclusionā on the charactersā behavior.
In a more classic approach, the girl could have given the guy some time, created a bit of distance, so that he could sort out his feelings. In that sense, he is right when he says (spoiler) ..... that he doesnāt understand whether what he feels for her is merely emotional empathy or his own genuine feelings.
However, this is precisely where, in my opinion, the series reveals a truly interesting aspect of the girlās character. There is sincerity in her. From the very beginning, she doesnāt know how to manage her emotions in relationships with men. She is convinced that no one can truly love her, accepts this as a fact, and therefore fails to recognize her own worth.
And yet, despite this, she remains positive, warm, and full of life. She accepts what fate offers her and wants to enjoy it. She doesnāt become arrogant, even after becoming a star; she stays humane, approachable, and easy to talk to with everyone. So far, the story hasnāt shown us how she might help another character ā at this point, the plot is focused exclusively on her own struggles and her personal growth.
As for the personality-related issue, this kind of behavior is often i think who have experienced psychological difficulties: they āinventā someone, and over time this tends to fade away once the underlying problem is resolved. However, in such cases, psychological support is indeed extremely important.
I really like this series ā I find it very refreshing.
I clearly have a serious case of āsecond male lead syndromeā!! I love this character, his development ā basically everything about him.
As for the main male lead, honestly, I wouldāve written him out ages ago ā he seriously gets on my nerves. Heās constantly indecisive with everyone⦠which is also a form of emotional selfishness.
Next to him, the girl eventually ends up looking completely obsessed with himā¦
I also really like the manager! Heās great.
But as usual, following the āstandard formulaā: a decent guy ( manager) a very sweet girl at the beginning ā and the moment the guy shows interest, the girl suddenly turns into a b***h⦠:( lol
I donāt think she really wanted to get married ep30, because if you look at her during the prayers, she was watching the door impatiently and slowing down her actions
Her father will suddenly come back,
realize she was married by mistake,
then reveal that sheās actually not poor at all but from a noble family ā
a secret, hidden daughter, of course.
Then theyāll cancel the marriage over some serious fault,
followed by a dramatic accusation, a condemnation
I know heāll probably end up with the other one, but it completely kills the charm.
I was already expecting him, as usual, to strut around like a peacock in front of yet another dazzled girl.

and i love this drama !!!!

What I particularly like here, beyond the absence of clichĆ©s, is that the creators chose to focus on a 1 single theme ( from 1 to 7 ep) and explore it in depth, rather than touching on many different issues at once and ultimately failing to truly address them ā which happens all too often.
