After some research, it seems pretty clear this is gonna be a love triangle: FL-CH-JW.“The Scandal of Chunhwa”…
I thought everyone read and knew this. There are tons of articles that describe the plot and every character. The synopsis on this site is incomplete, it changed several times.
No, they don't do English subs. The only option is auto-generated. It should be on Viki soon internationally and they will have their own promo and teaser videos with subs.
Why would you want the FL sleeping with 2 guys in a historical drama?Eww...
That's what I said in my initial post. That it's misleading marketing that they put him on the poster, making it seem like he has big part and then giving him 10 minutes of screen time. Which setting his character up for hate because people already got used to the main couple that had 90% of screen time. You replied to me that I want her to sleep with two men which I didn't mean at all.

You asked about the love triangle I answered. The kdrama tropes when the second lead only exists to make the main lead jealous, to create fake tension who will the girl chooses when it's already clear and then get rejected, hurt and thrown away.

It's not me. It's this strange attitude that a playboy character is sexy and interesting, but if a guy just decent and not trying to seduce a woman with his wealth and grand gestures he's called prudish, boring and dispensable.
This starting to look like the usual kdrama tropes just in historical setting. I want to be wrong cause I like the director and don't want to see good actors I love being wasted.
They did Chani dirty by putting him on the poster and giving him so little screen time, now the shippers gonna hate him and call him boring cause he doesn't have hot scenes or jumping on the Princess.
I don’t know what some of you are talking about. ML is so dang hot in his ruthlessness, confidence and protecting…
We need to give Jang Won some time. Chani is known for playing important characters even if he only has a cameo. He's just written that way, serious type, Chani even said that he sounds like ''an old man'' sometimes.
My one tiny complaint about this drama.Since it is a fictional dynasty, I wish they would have created their own…
It's still Joseon era just a fictional country. Most people are ok with everything they going for here and watched films like this. They just didn't want to create confusion using real historical figures and names.
The main question is who could write a book like this in that era?
The actor is 35 and the actress is 40. I am more astonished at their ageless looks.
Mid 30's-40's is young, the prime. Why everyone thinks that once you turn 30 next stop is a nursing home. Actors in mid 30's always played high-schoolers in films. Knetz calling them old and ugly, it's so sad to see.
There's a topless woman for a second in the first episode and shirtless men, other than that everyone from the main cast was covered during the love scenes.

There are couple of moments that we haven't seen yet, from ep 5-7 I assume, but noting major.

I want to see Chani and Seung Yeon in scenes together as brother and sister. So far they only showed them separately.

Comments complained about spoilers and they deleted the video for now, but everything from it was in the trailers.
