Everyone have their own bias. It is like expect Japanese make anime and admit it they screwed up another country during WW2. Everyone wanted to be protagonist in their own story. This drama already shown so many grey things. Funny enough, you can learn some Japanese history in Chinese dramas which Japanese will never show.
