Xiao Yao mom is FL and Chi Seng is ML. It is story of enemy to lover, both died together on battlefield as lover. HaoLing Emperor was typical SML that loved FL but FL do not love him back. Poor him, now I can't unsee him as sad tragic SML. Xiao Yao is a daughter of Chi Seng and Ling Hang so Xiao Yao indeed not illegitimate kid of HaoLing emperor.
