I wish there was no 2nd season. Cause it’s becomes more meaningless in every episode
Seriously, this kind of comment is simply pointless. There are plenty of people who enjoy season 2 and that are happy that it happened. Just because you don't like it why wish other people to not get their joy? You have the option to just not watch it you know. I don't get the love for Taylor Swift but I don't wish she was canceled.
I actually like this. I see lot of opinions which are like why would you srew up five years beacuse of something…
People also forget how stupid young people can be. A 30 year old me would say "Hell no, you crazy! No deal!" A 20 year-old me might have been foolish enough to fall for that trap as I was seriously insecure about everything.
The ending was somewhat satisfying. The first half of the show was better, the second half got too telenovelistic for me. It could have done without the pregnancy plot and secret paternity stuff. I was hoping for the mystery to be something less mundane. Especially a pregnancy arc, when the couple is not built on a solid foundation, is a trope I've grown to despise.
But otherwise, the leads were quite lovely together and a few side characters as well. I wish the show focused more on them getting to know and love each other than the scheming and dramatics. But I guess more episodes would have been needed for that.
It would have been a 10-star drama for me if not for the last episode, it was so entertaining. I had a feeling it would turn out this way but I was hoping they would surprise me. My hopes were too high from a mainstream drama, I should have known they wouldn't dare. Anywho. queerbaiting is not a good look and the King did not fall in love with SY but BH. And BH loved him back.
The soundtrack and the comedy moments were the best though.
Currently at episode 3. I like the leads but I hate the miscommunication/keeping secrets trope. Like why did they need to go 3 years without talking? If he is smitten with her why not tell her what's going on with his health? I don't get this "I'm crushing on you hard but I'm gonna ghost for years because of [insert stupid reason]."
Maybe Josh was a little annoying to me in the first episodes but I really felt for him in this one (6). And it's strange that I didn't realize how beautiful the actor was until this episode. I also really loved the conversation between Brendalynne and him, I really felt for her too. That final part with the two of them is my favorite so far.
What happened when Bryce got drunk at Bart's place? It is implied he kissed Bart before he fell on the bed and kissed hit his head or did he just get really close?
I really wanted to love this because I love Kokoy, but the story was just underdeveloped. And no matter how much I empathize with Mando's struggles, I just can't get past what he did to Krisha. It's just something you don't do, Barry was her brother. He should have broken up with her the second he realized he can't stop himself from fantasizing about Barry. He didn't need to out himself just not two-time.
The second disappointing part is that I didn't get a feel for who Barry was. His mental issues were the only thing we get to know about it and that he's got no issues in dating his sister's boyfriend. And how convenient his boyfriend cheated on him just when he was drinking Mando with his eyes.
6 episodes were not enough for this kind of story, I mean, they weren't really a get to know each other period, they didn't even try to fight it, they just went for it, while completely ignoring the sister.
What they did you Krisha was wrong and I felt sorry for her but I didn't like her character very much. In the beginning, she pretty much decided Mando's gonna be her boyfriend and didn't take no for an answer. Don't know if this wasn't written just to make his future actions more excusable.
I don't know, something about this story left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I liked the first two episodes and the teacher's story though.
