She hardly had any dialogues in Iribito but delivered such a stellar performance by conveying so much with her eyes. Also, she's got a really magnetic screen presence, which is rare. She will go far.
istg ppl on mydramalist are different breed the way many ppl on other platform are loving minato but ppl here…
I COMPLETELY AGREE! I don't get the hate for Minato at all. Even though I don't agree with what he did, I understand where he's coming from. He doesn't have confidence in himself and in Tsumugi. He's always been told he's second fiddle to her and over time, he's bought that though his heart wants otherwise. In real life, people don't always choose the most ideal or the right way to do things. People are complex and have their reasons for what they do even if we can't comprehend it. He's just human and in his way, did what he thought was right, not realising that its probably gonna hurt Sou and especially Tsumugi, who was sincere with him.
This had a lot of potential, but the last 2 episodes lost me a little with that twist. I'd say it was a mediocre drama. If you're looking for something really dark and psychological, this is pretty average. There are way better J dramas from this genre. Got to give credit to the cinematography and acting though - they were top notch.
Why did Sou apologized to tsumugui in the cafe , its obvious she is dating minato and he said they shouldnt be…
Different interpretations I guess...
But yes, I didn't mean Sou is insecure. Sou probably felt sorry because he wanted to respect Minato and Tsumugi's relationship and not come in between given that he is the ex.

Because everyone knows Sou and Tsumugi's history, and how Tsumugi never truly got over Sou. There were comments made by their common friends in episode 1 that if Sou were to return, Minato won't stand a chance. They all think that she's too good for Minato, though I'm not sure why. Also knowing the fact that Sou broke up with Tsumugi due to his hearing loss and not because he found someone else probably makes everyone believe that there's still a chance between the 2 of them. I can't remember which episode but there were hints and some flashbacks of how Tsumugi was shattered when Sou broke up with her, and had a mental breakdown.
The teacher is pretty intuitive so I think he could sense that Tsumugi was learning sign language for someone important and not just a friend. We've not been privy to their lessons but I'm sure Tsumugi must have indirectly hinted at something deep / personal for learning sign language.
can someone please recommend me a jdrama that’s similar to risky? something melodramatic and complicated 🥺
