Yes, different people's reactions are different and everybody has been reacting differently. Tsumugi accepted it and started learning sign language. Minato is having a hard time accepting it and doesn't know how to deal with it. Hikaru is sympathetic but indifferent. The friends tried to make Sou feel included during the game. The only repetition has been talking behind his back, which even his sister and mother do. Most people do, and people who can't hear accept that. I have a friend who can't hear and even after so many years, sometimes some of us forget and talk behind her back, and then suddenly realise and turn back to her to complete what we were saying.
An uplifting movie with sincere performances by Ninomiya Kazunari and Yakushimaru Hiroko, whose characters will inspire you to live and face your demons. Highly recommended!
A witty and cleverly written family drama acted by an amazing cast with great chemistry together. Beautiful mix of comedy, food porn, heartwarming conversations and life lessons supported by very relatable characters. Easily Yoshida Kotaro's most memorable performance amongst his many great performances. This gem will be missed. I'm kinda sad that it's over. Highly recommended!
