The way he worded (based on the translation ofc) "I want you to break up with me" just does not sit right with…
I think Minato wanted to hurt her in the worst way possible rather than actually communicating because he has low self-esteem and is not confident about her feelings for him. So to him, what he did is for her good when actually it's just his way of avoiding confrontation. I disliked what he did, but I could understand why he did that. He didn't do it with bad intentions, even though it ended up hurting all 3 of them.
What was wrong with ep 4????They overdramatized Minato's breaking up with Tsumugi so much that it was actually…
Just my two cents.
Ehh most people don't only love one person. Tsumugi has been in a relationship with Minato for 3 years, so it's normal for her to have feelings for him. I think she has a soft corner for Sou and never truly forgot him but he was gone for 3 years. You can't expect her to just break away from Minato and go back to Sou.
We don't know what the writer has in mind. It's not a 100% that Tsumugi and Sou will get back together.. we don't know for that sure. Even if they do, I'm sure the writer will have a way. J dramas tend to be unpredictable and don't follow a linear pattern of story telling like K dramas. They focus on human relationships and emotions, which is what this drama is conveying right now.
Please stop with the scenes where someone shouts at Sou behind his back because "they can't believe he can't hear".…
Minato , Hikaru and his friends met Sou after so many years, and are still processing the fact that he can't hear. It's something everyone always took for granted so their reaction is very normal. I'm saying this from personal experience.

Yessss I haven't watched much of most of this cast. I'd say they are relatively upcoming actors, except Kaho. But most of Kaho's movies are not subbed. I'm glad you enjoy my recommendations!
Soredemo Ikite Yuku will always be a favourite <3
Yes Oi Handsome is so fun! Fight Song and Shizuka-Chan to Papa were really beautiful dramas too! Some other dramas from this year that were great though I'm still catching up with more -
Koisenu Futari Ishiko to Haneo Double Boku No Neechan Uzukawamura Jiken
Can someone recommend me the best works of the main cast? Thank youuu!
Kazama Shunuske - Soredemo, Ikite Yuku Iribito Kirin Ga Kuru
Meguro Ren- Kyojo 2
Kawaguchi Haruna (I haven't seen a lot of her but these are performances I liked)- Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte Kazoku no Katachi Nagareboshi Ouran High School Host Club
Suzuka Ouji- Horimiya
Kaho (her movies are way better but most of her work isn't subbed)- My Friend "A" Red Mother Memoirs of a Murderer Our Little Sister
The fansubs are so much better than the professional subs on Viki LOLDon't understand the hate for Minato's character.…
Haha yes. J fansubbers have the most precise subs, I always watch from the fansubbers lol.. they deserve to get paid seriously.
Agreed on Minato - I don't agree with what he did as Tsumugi, too, has a right to decide who she wants to be with. But I can understand where he came from. I think his character is refreshing LOL
IKRRR! Episodes 1, and 6-9 were really well written. I was kinda loosing the drama between episodes 3-5 but I'm glad I held on because it came together really well in the final episodes.
E6. SHITTTTTT. I am so disgusted by the teacher and his wife. How could she just turn a blind eye and assume it…
I wish she didn't too, but I think the idea was that she wanted to forgive and move on. I don't think she'd be very close to them though, she'd probably just keep them a distance.
Well if you've watched till the end, then you'll realise that the wife knew but she was just trying to project her pain on to the girls rather than her own husband. She wanted to be with him even though he was at fault. She was scared of being lonely. I don't like her but I could understand why she did that.
And yes, why should victims feel the shame. Society is so messed up that way. The one who did wrong was the man, how dare he walk with his head up. I HATE THAT WOMEN ARE TAUGHT TO FEAR AND BE CAUTIOUS WHEN THE ONUS SHOULD BE ON THE MEN TO BE RESPECTFUL. Urghhhh.
"How can someone be so unscrupulous as to hurt others? And others have to bear the lasting pain?"
"How is the past not important? My wounds never truly healed. I willed myself back to normality, but my soul is falling apart all the time. I kept pretending to be ok.. I always said the same things and cycled through the same feelings."
"Maybe we'll be better when we grow up. Then we won't have to disappear."
"Let's keep moving forward, from the darkness into the light."
A beautiful drama carried by an A1 cast, with great writing especially in Episodes 6-9 and a very fitting score. Highly recommended for those who want to watch a painfully earnest portrayal of what it means for one's innocence to be taken away, how the trauma and society's insensitivity slowly breaks your soul into pieces, and how fighting back paves the way for one to heal.
Please do not watch this if you're triggered by depiction of rape on an innocent teenage girl and the way it scars…
E6. SHITTTTTT. I am so disgusted by the teacher and his wife. How could she just turn a blind eye and assume it was consensual. Poor Chen Xi, I hope that never happens to anyone ever. She didn't even know what was going on to be able to say 'no' and push him away. That's why sexual education and family support is so important. Her innocence was taken away :(
E7. HOW COULD HER FATHER ASK HER THAT?! URGHHHHHHH. HE EVEN REPRIMANDER HER AND MADE HER COVER IT UP? FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU. And the fucking wife supporting her husband. Disgusted AS FUCK.
And the friends. SERIOUSLY BETTER NOT TO HAVE THESE KIND OF FRIENDS.
Please do not watch this if you're triggered by depiction of rape on an innocent teenage girl and the way it scars you for life. I'm not putting a spoiler because it was really hard to watch and not everyone can take it.
That was a pretty heartwarming story of growth and love. I didn't expect it to like it as much as I did! If only the movie delved into Rio's psychology more, this would have been perfect. Highly recommended!
Welp, I am emotional after finishing this. That ending was PERFECT <3 I loved everything about this show from the banter and love between Shizuka and her papa, the supporting community of friends, the sweet straight forward romance between Shizuka and Keichi to all the little life lessons I took away from this drama. What a beautiful journey of struggles, growth, acceptance and unconditional love. Highly recommended for all, please watch it!
