E3. AHHHHHHHHHHH THE FEELS!E3 pretty much sums up why this version is miles ahead of the other versions for me.…
I love the way she was asked to think of a proposal. I kinda didn't like that it happened after the makeover in the original, which made me feel like people started treating her different after she "changed". Yes, she does do work for others, but I love that no one looks down on her in this version. People do value her for what she is, and treat her as an equal. No one tells her off for her curly hair, or ask her to be more fashionable cum pretty (something that pissed me off in the original so much). It would be awesome if this version can even do away with the whole random makeover that happened, better still to provide a proper reason for it (if it does happen)
I love that he's seeing her for who she is. That conversation they had.. it was so honest, so heartfelt & most importantly, it was a two way conversation (something the original seriously lacked). Both of them shared their true feelings. You could see that both of them stole glances at each other & it stirred some emotions. Also, he actually apologized for the airport incident (rather than saying let's take it as it never happened) & told her not to keep apologizing to people.
I absolutely love that he told off the co-worker to do the work that she was assigned to do, rather than just watch her do everyone else's work. (again this was missing in the original) Even that mini second when she ran past him, and he smiled. GAHHHHHHHHHH MY HEART.
The second leads. I already feel for them. You could see he was real when he proposed. I like that he jokes around, but doesn't make fun of her naiveness (like Siwon's character did in the original). The best friend is feeling the guilt & I love that they've spent more time with the leads in this version rather than having the best friend spend time with Sosuke. I hope everyone is happy at the end. They're all so sweet.
E3. AHHHHHHHHHHH THE FEELS! E3 pretty much sums up why this version is miles ahead of the other versions for me. I don't mean to compare, but I absolutely love the way they switched the events around in this & have the leads actually communicate with each other. KANPEKI!! E4 PLEASE COME SOON. The preview looks so fun!
I didn't enjoy this special as much as the drama & 2007 special. I found it repetitive in that it didn't bring anything new to the table, unlike the 2007 special. I was also disappointed because Nishikido Ryo wasn't a part of this special. After that development in the 2007 special, I expected Misaki/Shouta's relationship to go one step further :( Nonetheless, a decent time pass for all those who love Attention Please.
E3 was lovely. I love how Shu is smitten & he acknowledges it. He is a caring and kind man, so revenge will never be his cup of tea no matter how hard he tries. I am glad he finally knows who Mitsuki is. Ryusei is an interesting character; he clearly has psychopathic tendencies in the way he views crime and murder as a fun, creative thing. I hope we get to explore his character more. E4 preview looks interesting.. looks like things are getting a little more serious.
A rare special that was as good as the drama. It was lovely to watch Misaki continue to grow & maintain her spirit. Hope I can find subs for the 2008 special as well.
An article on Yoo Seung Ho without mentioning his role as young Dam Deok in Legend? If I am not wrong, he became huge after that drama. That was my first introduction to him. Lovely article, nonetheless. I love him.
This was a great drama. Thanks to this drama, I learnt so much about the aviation industry, & the kind of training cabin attendants & crew go through. I really grew to respect them. The cast was great, esp the FL who was absolutely wacky & hilarious. I rooted for her all the way, and this drama satisfied me with her growth at every turn, from start to finish. At no point did I think that she was acting. She owned the role completely. The other characters were lovely, from the friends & fellow trainees to the ML (well Nishikido Ryo is always a sweetheart). I enjoyed this journey all the way & would recommend this sweet, heartwarming & fun drama to everyone.

Nonetheless, I was happy to see our 4 leads again!

You did a great job. Please don't say sorry.
