E1- E4 I am really enjoying this drama. There's depth, sensitivity and maturity in the writing in the way it discusses contemporary relationships and the struggles people face with dating / marriage and life in general.
Ranbou is such a douche. You had no issues dating her and having fun with her, but you won't marry her because she has no sense of motherhood?! That's essentially saying I used you as much as I could and now you are of no use to me.
That man who Nana is seeing (due to the law) is such a creep. It's clear he's just lusting after her and wants her, and the moment he actually marries her (if he does), he'll treat her like shit. I really hope she doesn't end up marrying him. Also, the guts he had to look down on the other woman and call her ugly?! I AM SO GLAD SHE REJECTED HIM TO HIS FACE.
Tacchan is such a sweet guy. It sucks that everyone just judges him for his OCD before even giving him a chance.
Ep 5: When you're with the right person, it just feels right! I love how all 4 of them are bonding with their respective partners. Like there's the usual discomfort, awkwardness and judgment in the beginning but they were willing to give it a try.
It's interesting and realistically portrayed how we're so different with different people. Sometimes it isn't always about us being the problem ourselves, its also about the way the other person interacts with us. Nana naturally forces Tacchan out of his comfort zone, and Rambou is a lot kinder to the caring / motherly woman who meets his definition of ideal. But Nana / Rambou together were a bad match and only fixated on each other's shortcomings.
In number of dramas, the LGBTQ+ angle is forced. But it's so perfectly infused in this drama. After all, just like heterosexuals, they are human too. And everyone deserves to be able to love and marry the one they desire to be with. Nobody should be forced into a corner and prevented from love just because they're different.
Also love how this marriage law is discriminating against some and making it hard for them. But it's also a blessing in disguise for some. Like our main 4 would never have given each other a chance if not for this law.
E6 - Nana's grandma is horrible. HOW COULD YOU TELL YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER THAT SHE IS NOTHING BUT APPEARANCES? You're her family. No wonder so many ppl with family traumas are messed up. Like seriously if your own family can't support you and love you, then its hard to expect others to be kind.
E7 - Its lovely to see Tacchan slowly come into his own. I really hope Nana and him would give each other another chance.. Rambou is dodgey.
OH MY HEART THE FIRST EPISODE WAS SO GOOOOOOOD. The intensity, the flirtation, the chemistry, the comedy was all freaking on point. I love them so much. Thank you to the cast and crew for not disappointing.
This was decent until the last few mins of E10 happened. Like dude she told you she loves you and literally asked for a 2nd chance. She freaking communicated. And he said no?! Like what the hell is wrong with Haruto Damn I lost all my interest in a couple of minutes. This was the opportunity for the leads to get back together, to actually bring in the romance and happy couple moments. But wow Haruto doesn't deserve her at all. And also what does it mean he got his memory back; like WHAT?! Anyway 1 more episode to go and I am interested to know how this ends..
I was ok with the breakup in E8. It made absolute sense, and I was hoping the writer would make Haruto realise thereafter how much he needs Asuka and how much he loves her. They did that with Asuka communicating her feelings in E10. But what about Haruto? Does he truly even care for her and love her? Isn't this a romance drama? But where's the love? All I see is Asuka stuck in the past image of Haruto and his smile. As for Haruto, I don't even see his love. It doesn't help that Gordon's acting in this is so mediocre. Alice isn't impressive either.
But what about the ones who subbed season 1, wouldnt they be doing season 2 as well? :/
The fansubber for S1 only subbed 3/4 of the drama because the streaming site Viki picked it up. Hopefully someone will pick up the 2nd season if they like the first episode. Or maybe Viki will pick it up.. Fingers crossed.

He looks blank / disinterented in some of the scenes.
Alice isn't very impressive either.
