The feminist rhetoric is a bit much. I hate sexism and injustice and all, and I definitely believe in independent women having the freedom and right to choose their own lives. Even still, the feminists rants are a bit overdone. Loses its impact when overdone.

I totally understand what you’re saying. But, the tropes used between the main leads and their second leads ARE NOT making me root for them to get together with the second leads. Instead, it’s making me angry at the tension that’s building. I especially hated that moment between the ML and the female colleague when they were hiding in the truck and looked into each other’s eyes. Typical romcom tropes used wrongly (which is the point you made and I agree). It’s making me sick 🤢 😡.

The ML is too flirty and playful with that female colleague. I don’t like it. So far, the FL is not flirting with that lawyer even though he’s been flirting with her subtly. I don’t feel she’s crossed a line yet (as of episode 3). But, ML has definitely crossed the line with the frequent lean-ins that he does when chatting with the coworker.
