I so agree! This show was well done and deserves a higher rating.

I don't have decades worth of illegal drug research (just chemistry in university years ago), and I also know that meth is a created drug (not a raw material). 😉I also found that line to be strange and am hoping it was more of a translation thing.

I feel so frustrated with her right now. I could seriously throttle her through the screen. I was also frustrated with him for staying in the carriage after that lame peck on the cheek.

Seriously!! I skip absolutely nothing with this series because it is that good. They also keep me thinking, which is nice.

This was well written! I was so annoyed with what they were doing to his character while he had amnesia. He was such a force to be reckoned with and then reduced to essentially a concubine begging for her attention. I may be in the minority, but I was glad with his choice to fulfill his role and save the witness and his subordinate. At least he was more on track to being his bad self. I hope this return to his character continues to grow in the next episodes.

I have agreed with many of the comments to this comment with the dynamics between ML and FL and how the FL has been characterized (or mischaracterized - forcing men to sleep with you is not a good look for anyone).

This was my takeaway from the ending as well.

I do the same thing to my husband when I'm driving and have to stop quickly (traffic blows where I live). I will put my arm out to protect him. I don't actually think about doing it; it just happens. So, he's doing that not to cop a feel, but as an instinctive action to protect the person he is with from further harm. My female friends have done it for me, too.

I agree. Once I saw how RSB was grieving, I knew something was up (and that Wanwan was still alive).

I am watching both and couldn't agree more! I make sure to watch Glory a little later than Shine on Me so my blood pressure meds have time to kick in. 😂

I don't think NXG's dad could be more of a clueless (in business) tool.

I would wager it is by design, since their characters are both amateurs at kissing (they've never been in a relationship before). I will wait to see, but I have a feeling they will have better ones once they are in a relationship longer.

It is more subtle in how they are connected. Little threads here and there that you can pick up on. So far, QSZ is the only one picking up on the connection.

That is more for dramatic effect. An actual case would have had them investigating more thoroughly much sooner. If they showed how actual police work is done, it would be kind of boring and not as entertaining.

I personally like to see more shows like this being produced (I love mystery/thrillers like this one). However, as with the book industry, romance sells really well, so that is why you will more than likely see an overabundance of romantic shows being offered more internationally. Also, as kwanto mentioned in their comment, MDL viewers prefer romance and a more straightforward storyline to follow (nothing wrong with that, but I like more variety in my life ;) ).

All in all, I'm glad this show was finally produced, and I hope it does well so we can get more of this kind of content. LYX has been outstanding in this show thus far.

I've watched up to episode 11, and it has been a decent depiction of police and forensic work. It is obviously dramatized to be more entertaining. One thing I do appreciate is that they acknowledge the tediousness of the work. As they say, the devil is in the details (evidence). A good portion of police work is tracking down a lot of information to either rule something out or prove that something happened, and it is not really fast-paced.

I agree! I've also noticed that some shows use the same music (especially when they are from the same studio).

After watching the flashback of that party, what makes me sad is how outgoing/assertive NXG was before she met ZX. Because of him, she doubted herself and her worth, and she was not as shining as she had been before (as seen in that flashback). LYS has made her shine more again, which makes me happy to see.

Hate to break it to you, but there are a lot of stupid businessmen out there.
