Oh My God! What an ending! It left my heart completely sore. How am I supposed to be happy for their happiness when all I can remember is the poor sad prince's sacrifice and pain. I appreciate that the writer respected and cared about him to make the main couple take time before they get back together. But I am not satisfied. I am still living in his sadness. The last scene was metaphoric and just so cruel.
The whole drama was really skillfully written and very well acted. By everyone. The unraveling of each thread of mystery was riveting. The whole drama was like twist upon twist. Especially the last few episodes. I can never forgive Fc for how he treated Hen Xiang. His obsession with Rong Le was frustrating and so was Hen Xiang's unwavering love for him. Rong Le was endlessly backstabbed by the ones she loved and trusted, yet she could never give up on her forgiving and kind nature. She was caring without being weak. I liked her character a lot. She is among one of my favorite Female leads of cdrama. Wu You's character was the most developed over time. He was a self righteous brooding cocky brat who learned to love, sacrifice and compromise. But no one could effect me as much as Rong Qi. I love Leo Luo's acting since Ashes of love. On top of that, he dubs for himself. All-rounder much! He has the most honest expressions ever. I can feel his pain through his eyes. He has a delicate face with convincing nuances. Even though his role in this Drama was shorter than the other main characters, he dominated my heart more than anyone. I'd love to see him in a lead role soon.
Episode 30 kissing scene -- when Min Ah is a better kisser than Jin goo! I love jin goo, like a big fan, and their chemistry is great on and off screen even without the "kiss" kisses. But I just want that boy to be perfect at everything. And how was his kiss in potato star, when he was 16, so much better than his adult kisses!!!
Don’t worry. I felt exactly the same way most of the time. If you are like me, you will only fully understand…
Not a "big fan" as such, but I liked his acting in ashes of love a lot. I felt really bad at the characters' ending. And I want to see him in a lead role.

Same. I had the feeling from the beginning that he looks at her like, you know what they say, a man looks at a woman. But I was still not sure until it started getting pretty obvious with each episode that's showing him being jealous of all her beaus and secretly pining for her. Oh My God! I am already anxious from your comments.

I can tell you from what I've watched so far that I feel bad for Hen Shiang. And even though I love Leo Luo, his actions toward his sister, who I am sure about 80% that is not, is super creepy. Am I onto something about the sibling thing! Give me a nod if yes. lol.

I haven't finished yet. I stopped at episode 39 because I thought i'll run out of subbed episodes. Now that it is subbed i'll start again. I'll let you know once done :)
OH MY GOD! I fell off my seat reading this review. LOL! Again, observation on fleek! I can't tell you how uncomfortable those kisses made me feel. But I thought I should keep my views to myself since everybody else is loving it. You are like the best observer ever! Kim Ji Won is a good actress and a very pretty girl, so I tried to ignore the kisses. But habitually failed. The bad breath thing could be more than a conjecture you know. I totally saw her mouth letting in Choi Daniel's tongue in a Drama special episode. I absolutely adore Park Sae Joon btw. lol.

I will be looking forward to that little bit of change in the better direction then :) I am also gonna pause watching it until the last two episodes gets done subbing. I don't wanna be cliffhanged to an interesting turn.

I am at episode 36. I know now the reason behind the Princess Silver and White Hair Princess Consort titles. I like the unlayering of the events. It's interesting. I like the acting too. The only thing I don't like is how the writer is handling the fl. Don't get me wrong I love her. She is one of the few fls that I love. But unlike the story of becoming of a hero, here the girl's track is back arching. She started with being a spy-like intriguing character who can fight, as well as got the brains. But gradually she is reduced to this plaything who is getting used, tossed around, manipulated and backstabbed. Even the love of the men seems selfish and suffocating. I feel bad for the character. They introduced a badass princess and then regressed her to just another princess (with a strong resolve off course). She now needs a lot of saving while before she was the one who was doing it.
In the scene, where she gets kidnapped by that chen girl, were they trying to tell me that a girl who knows to fight like her cannot release herself from those puny ropes!
