"You make me a better person"-- this show showed how far 1 will go to make this saying literal.
Time loop is for the 90's. This is a more complete and convergent version of the trope. I mean why only one person has to take the responsibility of looping through time and hurt to make another better. Love is a couple's effort and journey. The show was unusually engrossing even with the flaws which can be overlooked. The acting was good especially Tae's who I saw first time in this drama. His acting is the best and very mature. Also Tonnam. I can't believe he's the same guy who played Rain's junior in Love in the Air. Completely different character both and played equally distinctively. The chemistry of the leads was great. And I looooved Jinta.
I was peeved by only 1 character that's Art, Tol's friend. I dunno why Mild always play these roles where he's supposed to be the likable guy but always irritate the heck outta of me. Same happened in Tharntype too. It's not cos of his acting which is good and he's kinda cute but the characters he plays are one way or another triggering or abetting some sorta shit.
I'll rewatch this one for the story and the leads.
p.s. Watching The gifted and remembered that I forgot to mention how amazing Fiat was in this too. Very good actor with a great voice.
Okay so I was watching a Thai BL drama the other day where one actor plays another actor due to body swap plot and I love love love that actor but i couldn't help thinking though he wass playing the role amazingly as usual but it's not exactly like how the other actor was playing it. It's not just cos the actor whom I like was a better actor than who he was playing but it's cos there was a gap in picking up the other actor's personality while playing that character. it sounds confusing i know.
But Nanon is playing Dome exactly like Gun did it. I mean ππ
I am just 2 month old in BL so every time my mind goes that way, I am to myself like girl u r too inundated to see straight. so stop now. A man and a man can be friends or not blood related brothers. So yut. But then Khatha names Chan and his expression like that. So i am to myself again: hold my Khatha.
I am happy that it'll end this tuesday and I could finally start watching. But i am a bit worried that it was supposed to be 15 but now cut down to 10 episodes. Hope all'll be wrapped up well.
Curious to death about Katha and Dome's connection...
What the show actually is is not good, what it thinks itself is hilarious. The whole starting atmos of a dark enemy to lover love story of mafia(?) vanishes in the 2nd episode and then they try to pull in every trope possible. It's ok. It no big deal. I like the leads chemistry. That's the only thing that the show was banking on and it paid off perfectly.
The best part of the show was me discovering Bank. He's a hot dude with a voice seductive like the devil's whisper π and that song was sexy as hell. π₯ But in the show he's the poutiest cutie ever π₯°
When I was watching Thartype 2 I was so invested in Type's story and so annoyed with Fiat that I missed this obvious thing, FIRST IS SO DAMN GORGEOUS!!!πππ He is such a perfect looking dude. When Leo said, "every part of you is beautiful", me like π
