The poster somehow looks odd, I get why it has to change but ARP's body was occupied by BL's hands, thus giving less spot for him, making them appear unbalanced. Please bring back the original purple one. Can we normalize picking the aesthetically-appealing posters from their official streaming sites? They're still official, anyways. 😭
It is necessary because posters are part of some people's decision-making on giving a show a try. MDL admins, heed my/our plea. 🙏
I love emotional dramas, but kinda afraid to start this one... I just finished being happy in When Destiny Brings the Demon, please tell me some positive aspects of this drama. 🥺
One of the best dramas I've watched in a while! I'm already done watching it yesterday, yet I still feel empty now that it was finished. :( I miss our JiaoYan couple so much! It's time for a rewatch.
Sadly, the ending was rushed 😭 just like how almost every xianxia is. But thankfully, they gave us plenty of sweet moments and memories to cherish. Can someone tell me how it ended in the book? I just can't rest easily without knowing if they ever recognized each other or not, and what happened to the side characters in the other realms, and also curious about Mr. Wei's existence from the very start. I still have some questions unanswered, I needed more. :((
The way I bursted into tears with Ting Yan the moment Jiao Jiao dissipated into thin air... Such a heart-breaking scene, capturing the strong emotions of our couple that elicits on the screen. 😩
Episode 13 is wild, like how did her physical body suddenly kiss him and all while he's unconscious and she's in his soul manor? 😭 This is the first time I've seen a physical body and a consciousness do two different things at the same time. I love it, but it feels weird, but again I'm happy that he will be saved this way, then again it feels illegal as he was unconscious, but finally at least it's a romantic moment. 😩
I'm confused with the world of cultivation, what is it in the real world (where Zou Yan originally came from)? Did she transfer in a book, or did she die then went to the world of immortals? Can someone briefly explain (and please mark it as spoiler)? Thank you! 🥹

Oh, my fault. I haven't watched Ep4 yet and I thought she have more likely a straight/wavy hair since her 25 y/o self look like it. Thanks for the clarification!

Though I agree that the styling and the hair should definitely be better than this, because what do you mean the only thing she remember was her 25 year old self but lost the fashion sense she had!? The director, crew and producers were at fault for not looking at the subtle details. Also, someone need to lecture them that waking up from a coma won't make one's hair become extremely curled when you have a natural straight/wavy hair. 🙂
I really hate it when trivial matters like this were ruining the perfectly-fine plot and acting!
I usually like the female lead's acting, she is a good actress, but I can't enjoy it in this drama, it looks soo…
Their styling to her was the only thing that's bothering me and which I'm confused about right now lol, but anyways, may I ask why do you think that the acting looked forced? How? I'm genuinely asking because I'm actually loving it since I think it was the most realistic reaction a teenager in her prime suddenly experienced something as tragic as her.
Why is the rating so low!? I'm honestly loving this drama right now, I never thought I would be this hooked in every moment, and I feel every emotion the characters are trying to convey. The pacing also feels just right. Now, I'm really curious what actually happened, and how did her life changed so much?
This is more than just a rom-com, people are really missing out on a good show.
I am genuinely liking the calmness and not-so-intense cases of this show. Though yes, it wasn't the best law drama out there, but it gave what it promised—the attorneys' growth as they open up to each other and the growing bond as they ate meals together. I guess, maybe it was because people expected it to be super witty and plot-driven that they are disappointed with the "mediocrity" of the drama. I appreciated it a bit more because I prefer how it was just normal—everything happened in a usual daily set-up and the cases doesn't make me cry and have a headache, which is what I pictured from its title "Law and the City." I just have a complaint with the uneven pacing of the story at certain parts, and the flashbacks of HJ and JH's moments in HK that suddenly pops up. There's also no definite plot and the story have no clear direction, it was solely about the characters and their relationships, which is okay but lacking. It's a hit or a miss, as the viewers' enjoyment is based on their expectation of the show. For me, it was 7.5/10.
Why did CZ suddenly turn 180° after seeing XJ and HY kiss? Didn't he already witness that they held hands, but didn't mind it? I thought it was going well for him, and he won't mind her anymore... He's usually composed even with XPT. Suddenly going mad about them felt out of character, plus what he said to the emperor just made it much worse. If that happened in the book, they could've just changed it in my opinion. I don't mind other troubles for the main leads since it's reasonable (as we still have 2 remaining episodes left), but plot-wise, making CZ the villain in the last remaining episodes doesn't seem right.
I want MDL to quit with the celebrity articles. Regardless of whether its positive or negative. There's Koreaboo,…
For real. I was still getting shocked from time to time as to why news like this were posted here, when it used to be mostly "drama recommendations per category." Though it's also good to be aware of their current lives (like when they'll get married and such), but it's often unnecessary to make articles for minor issues like this.
What's wrong with her? she was doing well why suddenly all these nonsense?
She's doing well, yes, but her haters just won't leave her alone. To be honest, if I was in her position, I'd be drained as hell too. She's just choosing her peace over anything now. Though, I guess she still needed to be "present" for her supporters and businesses, thus creating an account on Xiaohongshu. It doesn't seem to be a bad idea.

Didn't expect our beloved "ahjussi" to be in the cameo though, so cute!
