I'm so happy it did not disappoint, and I was able to watch this xianxia during my free times despite being busy lately. Again, I have said multiple times before that I really don't like amnesia tropes in drama land - BUT OH MY, the amnesia trope in LDT is so well-done despite the angst and pain it initially brought to us viewers. I love how this period of time still feels like a must for their relationship to grow and to better understand each other. I initially thought that Yi Shui and Ran Ran's relationship was already almost perfect, being able to sacrifice their own cores and roots for each other and clearly expressing unconditional love that is truly rare to find, given with their immortal identities. I quite didn't expect this arc to still add another layer in the unplumed depth of their love, so I found myself wanting to see more of this arc. 🥹
