As EP7 is a stand-alone episode so the story wasn't connected to the past episodes, I felt lost at first but I still pretty like it. Aside from LMH's surprisingly great acting, it gave light to a Japanese character - and even like a yakuza (though not sure if that's what really that man is but that's how it looked like), when all this time they've been portraying how Japanese ruling negatively affected Koreans before. I'm not Japanese and surely not defending or criticizing them, but we know that not all Japanese are evil that time so this episode is good. The only thing is that maybe I could empathize with him more if they presented a story that could truly justify how come or why he's acting like that in the past episodes, so if it's fine I hope they can further explain his side in the future for us to see if he had more character depth.
To be honest I really can't with some of the scenes here like when some people were quite inconsiderate of Thien's feelings at times, and many more. However Mark and Mew became my one of the most favorite on-screen couple as their chemistry in this drama is so great. Their cute flirting scenes and some great lines made up the for the letdown moments the show had. Also the fact that they made Muey as an intelligent FL (and clingy cute but not annoying) and not a dumb dependent woman is a big plus for me. Still definitely worth-watching for me, and the ending was really the kind of ending I want in most arranged-marriage or contract-marriage dramas. It became of my favorite Thai dramas.
Been scrolling here and everwhere with stuffs all about WTWR. It's actually my first time watching a wuxia that's airing at the time I'm watching it, and I'm glad it wasn't a disappoint. This experience made me less worry about long episodes.
Thanks for this article! I started watching lakorns last 2018 as that's the year when lakorns started airing in a particular TV channel here, and my first-ever lakorn was You're My Destiny. Then, lockdown made me love Thai dramas more last 2020. Full House, Kiss Me, and My Husband In Law will always have a special place in my heart.
Also from what I know and based here on MDL, Kiss Me is based on the famous shoujo manga "Itazura na Kiss" by Tada Kaoru, and the first live action had the same name and is Japanese. So, the Taiwanese is also just an adaptation hehe.
I honestly could just watch in repeat all scenes of BFX touching HFX's face, like when she's trying to know why his face feels hot and all. No, actually all scenes where the skinship is initiated by our girl. She's so adorable and you can see her sincerity for him even with these little actions. Plus it's not only HFX who can make a reason to go out with him lol, BFX can too. It's like they love each other equally.
Based on Ep23 trailer, it seems like she'll really do something bad. My guess is that it might be towards BFX, since she had these 'eyes' when FLX's guard and the other were talking about how FLX is head over heels with BFX. It can also be that she did something he didn't order to do so which messed up his plan, or she had gone too far. Well let's see.
Y'all, I'm deciding if I should stop at episode 18 and return to it after it finishes airing. I'm getting a little…
True, but I think the next eps will be more exciting and they will slowly focus more on BFX's story! So all we could do is patiently wait until Sunday. ~ 😅
"All right, don't cry. I will get to the bottom of this. Go back to your palace now." Aren't you tired of saying these every time, Your Lordship? I hope you're just making it seem that you're buying the pretentious cry of that Madame Baili, because even the eunuch is good at analyzing things so I hope you actually listened to him. 😔
That whole tea eggs explanation make me crack up and had weak knees while watching that entire scene lmao, how can BFX not laugh at that situation 😭. Also poor Lang Hua, only her can actually understand the whole situation HAHAHA 😂
Dear Lanxi's feathered ponytail,Fare thee well beautiful friend. May you continue to be windblown and lustrous,…
HAHAHA love that 🤣 even tho I admit I quite like the bun more as it looked neat ~ well as long as it's YY, and maybe I'll really fall for the ponytail hairstyle more sooner xD
Idk but I really kept cracking up whenever I watch again or remember that scene when LZX said to GW that she's comfortable with her high heels, but later on put tape around her sandals just for her to not trip again lol. She's so me when I was younger but never thought of putting a tape like that lmao. 😭
Okay, my hunches are so messed up before but please hear me out. Before, I had a hunch that YWY maybe is the man whom Emperor Chun Xi called "Sir" in Ep1 who used the fake empyrean seal to be the cause of all states to turn against each other. So I tried to compare the eyes of the person in Ep1 and the current YWY, but the eyes didn’t look the same so I didn’t bother anymore. But after he talked to HC about that plan to give back the seal and all to the Imperial City, I doubted him again when he seemed disappointed that HC didn’t entirely follow his plan. I also suddenly remembered that he said he is a wanderer, so no one will care about where he is staying and I suspected him to be the possible leader of Soultaker Sect. Then after that scene where he recalled his memories with BFX while HC’s sister is playing an instrument for him, I thought maybe he really isn’t a bad person. Then now, it turned out the way it is now? AAA he’s stressing me so much! But despite that, Ep16 might be one of my favorite episodes so far!
Her parents maybe are the lords in a particular state too, but most probably she can wander around the world because aside from that's her desire path, her parents or either of them are still alive so she's still just a princess - the Princess Feng Xi Yun we're about to know - who's not obligated to do things in court so she maybe had a permission to live a free life. She's also Bai Feng Xi who we know from the start who's a heroine in Martial Arts World. I think subbers just made a mistake because no one in Tianshuang Sect actually know her real identity or even called her Xi Yun, it's always Martial Arts Sister. We're still about to see who she really is.
