I'm still in Ep14, and I also noticed how HSM keep a straight face whenever DX does something to express his feelings for her. At first, I wondered if it was part of the script or not—if HSM was supposed to feel conflicted and if Reba wasn't able to capture that feeling (don't come for me yet lol). Now that DX pointed out how she keeps a straight face, that's just when I confirmed that it was indeed part of the script. 😭 (sorry for doubting you queen)
Now that I think about it, HSM's reaction is kind of confusing, yet on point. Confusing in a way that there are many reasons why she doesn't reveal her real feelings, but all of it is concealed in that one straight expression—which is what makes it on-point. Even her body language hints how she likes him (even just a bit), as she doesn't physically push DX away when he kissed or hugged her. Yet, she also doesn't want to give him false hopes that would make him cling to her more (even though he already does lmao). My heart breaks every time DX smiles after getting "rejected" by HSM, but it was reasonable so I can't complain. 😭
I have some questions in mind regarding the characters. Why do Tian Jia Rui and Yan An play two characters? Who is Ji Ling to the Dragon Deity, and is Li Jie related to the butterfly demon? There are clues regarding CW's character (considering JL just... went like that) but I don't want to assume yet, and I have no assumptions regarding YWH.
I still remember how I cried a river for a whole week (I'm not even exaggerating) after watching this sageuk. I just want to go back in time so that I can watch it again without the knowledge of it.
I just scrolled to look for other people's opinion, then see the spam comments of that one hater instead. To that person, thank you for boosting the drama lol. 😂
I feel sorry for veil of shadows. The drama is not well structured, every cast has equal rights to screentime…
As a fan of most of them, I so much prefer that they have equal screen times. However, I do agree that they kinda aired this a bit early, when POJ is still at its peak. But instead of feeling sorry, I think the fans themselves will make ways to make VOS keep up soon—it may be possible, knowing they have loyal fans who even made 113k comments possible just here in MDL.
It's so pleasant to see Ji Ling and Li Jie standing side by side in VOS, because Zhuo Yi Chen and Li Lun didn't get the opportunity to be brothers in FOF. I love their characters there, and I still do here. 🥹
Following " When destiny brings the demon" this is another excellent fantasy series , starring Arthur…
FR! I don't get why some people call this "boring" and names when they clearly haven't seen all episodes. This deserves at least 8.5 so far in my opinion, but unfortunately, MDL rating is kinda rigged rn.
I never saw this drama NOT 8.7 ever since I watched it 3 years ago... I can't believe the rating dropped after…
I miss it too, I think that rating was more well-deserved for this drama. I still remember the leads' insane chemistry and the show's amazing plot twists.
111.4k comments and still not aired!? This got to be the most insane comment pages I've ever come across to!Then…
Aside from the promising synopsis that's making me have high hopes, I also hope this drama will redeem Rebirth For You because Joseph Zeng and Ju Jing Yi's chemistry is good but the script and plot of the aforementioned drama did not do justice to them. ☹️
Their interactions so far were a mix of comedy, intrigue, and harmony. I can't put it perfectly into words, but it really was that mixed feelings. DX's sparring scene with HXX's intervention was funny, and the way they both challenge each other through the same tactic (lying) was even funnier yet reveals how good of a pair they can actually be. The curiosity spectacle was working well for me! It really felt like a fateful encounter, I'm immediately rooting for them not because they're the main leads but because their interactions made me.

Then I saw who the four main leads are, and thought "Ah, no wonder." 😌
