Okay but WHY did I just discover a while ago that there are TRS stickers in instagram?! I just came back after being on hiatus there since for almost 7 months and I'm like- I wish I have known earlier, I WISH I used it to promote TRS at least in my stories when I already started watching the drama, just like what I'm used to for other dramas before. Those stickers are just so adorable for me, same with TRS twitter hashflags ... 😭
So it took me almost 8 months to pick this drama up again after dropping it on EP4 while it was still airing before, and I gather up all the brain power and emotional strength just like what someone advice here - and I'm glad I did! Though there are some disappointments of course and some things I thought it still should be shown but didn't, I still enjoyed it. The trio did amazing portraying their characters, the process of how Joon and Soo Hyuk became close friends seems so refreshing to me, their bromance is amazing. I also love the development in Joon and So Bin's relationship, and how the drama turned out more like a healing story where the leads lean on and help each other while growing up despite having very different personalities.
I miss this drama, now a lot of edits of Boyet and Aubrey kept on appearing on my FYP in TikTok again. I had a good time watching this, it's one of the shows GMA produced that I like so much. The main leads nailed their roles, can't believe how they were able to hold their laughs throughout the show lol. I like this duo even though the FL's character always talk like she's against the world most of the time HAHAHA, but she had pretty good development arc. Also both of the leads' acting were so natural.
Lee Eun Saem a.k.a. Young Hee is like the softest girl in this drama, the one who keeps the peace in their group. But then nowadays, because of All Of Us Are Dead, her international nickname is Ms. Shibal 😭 HAHAHA. Nothing, I just find it funny 🤭.
Right 😭 I've never voted on any of those list ever since I joined MDL. Tho, they all seemed to be enjoying ranking people so I don't mind them that much.
I heard that there was controversy with this drama. Does anyone know what it is?
ahh, old story. but the thing is I already forgot too, sorry 😭. all I just remember is that people rated this drama so low that it got 7.7 and/or below ratings here in mdl, and even lower in other platforms (3-4/10 in douban?). but the drama was so good and find justice later on hehe, then at the end it got 8.7 ratings here ~
The first 25 mins was already full of tension for me oml 😭 I haven't watched any show related to bdsm despite…
OMG I liked it more than I thought I would! I admit I kind of feel uncomfortable at first in some scenes as I don't know that's actually how it works, but as I've heard a lot about our ML's POV and more information from the narrator, I think I now understand - and this really turned out to be way better, more than expected at least for me. The main cast portrayed their characters so well, and their chemistry was just 🔥. Plus the Dom-Sub relationship amazingly don't seem to be forced, I enjoyed how it went 'til the end!
The first 25 mins was already full of tension for me oml 😭 I haven't watched any show related to bdsm despite knowing that topic, since I know you had to have an open mind in watching this kind of movies, and also most of the shows in this category had low ratings somehow ... This is my first approach to this kind of genre, and as a lot of people are telling me this turned out to be so good and shared their reviews, I really hope it wasn't a disappoint.
I love how they presented this drama to us. The cinematography is a top-notch, and the 90's vibe is so aesthetically pleasing. Someone said all the small details make the setting so realistic which is very true, plus the delivery of lines of our leads are so clean. Also both of their acting skills are truly outstanding, I just- LOVE everything about this show so far, and I hope it's not too much for me to have higher expectations!

Why did it felt like they already told the ending in the beginning 😭. Anyways, the 1st ep was pretty refreshing for me, and I really like it. The characters are already lovable in their own ways and I never felt bored, the 1-hour+ passed by so quick.
OMG I just saw in my archive facebook stories that last Feb 14 2020 that instead of going out with my family or friends (since I don't have a bf), I'm watching this 😭 ... I was still a baby cdrama binge-watcher that time, and I can't remember already how I have mixed emotions while watching this show that time, like- I even spend my Valentines Day to watch it but at the same time don't want to rate it higher than 7.5 ...
I also thought about that before. Even in other social media platforms, I've seen some people questioning about the scene where he asked him for the 3rd time to be his concubine, why he didn't gave up despite knowing what can happen if she became his. Then after some thinking and re-watching of the drama, I came to this conclusion: It was indeed true that she wanted to be out of the whole palace mess no matter how much she likes him. You also said that he put his feelings before her, and I think the main reason for that is he because he never thought that fate won't be that good for him either. Remember how he promised a few times that he will not love like his grandfather, and that he'll protect his loved ones? That was his intention, but it didn't came to his mind those times that he'll slowly take his grandpa's footsteps until he became the king. He desperately wanted her to be his family, and be his concubine for him to be able to protect her by his side. San told himself that it's the path he'll take, so I think that's the reason why he made that decision. Also like what MMMhwat said, the label of "The King's Favored Court Lady" puts a target on her back that every political rival of the king wanna use her. Aside from that, we all know that she already rejected him twice - but even though she did, even only the thought of not seeing him for the rest of her life must've hurt her based on how they were apart for 1 year before. Even though she had freedom outside the palace, it doesn't mean she don't miss him too much and she was in pain in those times. It made her decide to stay by his side too, which also made it not forced. Plus, San respected her decision when he rejected him twice before right. In the 3rd confession, he said he'll really let go of her if she wanted - but Deok Im grabbed his clothes instead of running away. That's the point when she finally came into the conclusion that she'll face the consequence of her decision like what she's always doing, and face the future that awaits her.
Should I watch this drama. I don't want to emotionally trouble myself.
I'd say yes because it's still worth-watching. That's also my problem at first because Moon Lovers traumatized me XD, but after I tried watching it as most of the feedbacks I saw after each episode air were all positive, that's when I tried. After watching the first few episodes, I was so into the drama that I even forgot about the emotional damage I can get haha, and just enjoyed what the drama offered me.
