I'm not a fan of manga so I decided to see it just because it was ongoing and it was showing up on my explore page all the time. You can tell it's a manga adoption just by Risa's voice and Hiroto's haircut (you know that typical long manga hairstyle). To the plot ... I really like the fact that each episode is a little less than 30 minutes long which doesn't tires me unlike the typical 1 hour + long dramas. To be honest everything is happening really fast but again how long would be the storyline of a manga? It's definitely a drama for more mature audience or people who like a little bit of smut ;)
Now the story is quite basic : The typical virgin "never-had-a-boyfriend-before" girl fells in love with a mysterious, sexy , rich guy who's manipulative but she doesn't care (or understand it) because she's in love. It kinda reminds me of Twilight movies sometimes ( and I wasn't a fan ). Anyway I would really like to know what's his secret that he has to hide so well from her but from some spoilers I read that he might be bisexual and doesn't want her to know???? I guess I'll have to wait until the end to learn...
I would definitely re-watch it for the spicy scenes ;)

I was surprised they decided to make a drama about abandoning and adoption. This is not a very frequent issue in K-dramas.
I liked the fact they showed how both sides felt . 10 minutes per episode was enough but had they made it 30 minutes we could have had a fuller story with more details. I didn't really like the FL . I think her part was kinda pointless and they should have focused on the ML and his relationship with his parents. Nevertheless , it's a nice short drama which you can see as a movie.

The scenario was REALLY good. A complicated love story , love affairs, a mysterious death ( even at the end I couldn't believe that he would kill him) , suspense and anticipation in every single episode.
The OSTs were the bomb.com too
This drama was a masterpiece. I don't think I will ever find something similar to this ;(

So the drama is in 3 phases : high school , mid 20s , early 30s. Although the first phase is very boring and so is the second , I think it's all because of how immature the main characters still are. Once they reach their 30s and their lives have completely changed the story becomes deeper because they will have to deal with serious problems and face their demons like proper adults. If I would re-watch it , it would be only for the final episodes.

I started watching it only for Got7 's JinYoung but I fell in love with Lee MinHo ...!
I wasn't really into romantic / girly love stories or supernatural ones but this drama was very nice. I think it's all because of the main cast. I really liked the past / present mode. This way the story made more sense to me ? I don't know. It would have been too weird to show a mermaid living among humans on the 21st century. I know Koreans like fairytales with mermaids, goblins etc but some times I think it's too much.

It seems to be a nice drama and interesting. Although the scenario is quite familiar to me (I've watched something similar before) it still captured my interest. I don't understand why it's so underrated. The main cast is good. I really wanna see what Sabina is going to do at the end with her child but most importantly how did her mother switch her with the real Eun Dong Joo . The plot is is progressing quick which is very good unlike most dramas where they try to postpone it as much as possible. Was this review helpful to you?

To be honest it's only 6 episodes but I understood what was going on on the 4th.At first I thought it was something like a back and forth on her life before and after they broke up but then it shows that she gave birth to her child so I was like "was it all a dream?"
So actually on the 3rd episode it shows her life on a parallel universe. In first case she gave up on her dreams , got married , had the baby , sacrificed her life pretty much and was unhappy (plan b). In the other case she chose her carrier , got rich and successful and was happy (plan a).
Of course at the end she chose plan b because she realised that family values more than money or career. I would prefer it better if she would have chosen plan a. Now the end it was so predictable.

I really like thriller / horror movies so when I found it I thought I should give it a try. The story is nice and I really liked the fact that although it's a drama it wasn't "soft" .Some scenes were quite realistic as well. The cast was good ( especially the priest) but I didn't really like the policewoman . I think she her acting was a little annoying in some parts.
I don't know if they are going to make a second season but to be honest I didn't really get why did Pak Il Do reach HongJoo . They were distant relatives but still I feel something is missing . I could re-watch it easily.

This drama was nothing special. In fact it reminded me a lot of "what's wrong with secretary Kim?" and a little bit of "devilish joy" . Seriously , what's going on with this whole amnesia / blindness / can't recognise names - faces-voices thing on kdramas? It's really annoying and not realistic at all. At first I thought it would be a funny drama and in fact it was but then it just reminded a lot of "what's wrong with secretary Kim?" so I got really fed up. I loved the main leads but sometimes their dialogues and actions were really stupid . Like , Galhee would pretend she was Veronica but Minik couldn't understand it was her even by her voice ? Also I don't think there was a real chemistry between the main leads. Would I recommend it to anyone ? Yeah maybe but there are much better dramas with same story more or less so I guess it wouldn't be one of my first choices .

It was enjoyable nevertheless. 80% comedy - 20% drama. I liked the fact that although the drama was supposed to be about the family and the issues among them each member had his individual love story / problems as well.
If you're looking for a drama with a desperate housewife , a husband in mid-age crisis , a pshyco/stalker girlfriend and a teen son with hard-ons all the time then this is a drama for you!

Too be honest this was the first Taiwanese drama I had ever seen. I think the synopsis is quite misleading and a little boring. I chose to watch it just because it would appear on my feed all the time and I'm happy I did. It's only 13 episodes so they got to the point since episode 1 (which is good unlike many other dramas).
At first I though Zhou Wei Wei was really annoying. You know the typical good girl who's deeply in love with her bf and now someone new is flirting her but she doesn't like him because she's devoted to her bf etc. However, unlike most female leads who choose to sacrifice their happiness in favor of her beloved ones when she started to realise that her bf was actually shit she took her life in her own hands. There was a dramatic change in her personality at the last episodes.
Also something not so important but I can't keep myself from not saying it... her bangs were A-W-F-U-L ... she has a nice face and when she changed her haircut she was so much beautiful ... eww who told her she looked good with those bangs ;(
Now , Chu Ke Huan ... he was the male lead all women like .. a strong , rich and successful man who chases the woman he loves. A gentleman but won't hesitate to kiss her while her bf is on the other room. Yeah, he definitely was cocky but he respected her . Also , is it only me or does he look like Park Jinyoung ? Was it just his haircut ? I know..
And now to the 2 most annoying characters .. Li Hao Yi & Gao Zi Yuan . Hao Yi is the type of bf you should avoid. He was good and kind with her and seemed to love her , sure, but come on ... they had made an arrangement to spent only 5$ on food everyday in order to save money? Jesus what type of life is this? She would have to spent the best years of her life miserable just so she could enjoy it on her 60's . Zi Yuan was also annoying af . Extremely clingy and had no personal life. I could understand how suffocating she must have been for Ke Huan
Overall it was a very nice mature drama with many love scenes (but no sex scenes) . I would definitely re- watch it for the spicy parts ;)

I really enjoyed the story and the plot twists ! This story is like a roller coaster. You think they're going to find him out and then ... BOOM ! something happens and everyone has to focus on something else.
However, I didn't like the cast and those 3D Shinigamis were really creepy. For me it's better when the story has includes supernatural to stick to anime or manga. I mean it's like trying to adapt a Disney movie into real life. Something is going to feel off and fake.

Nice story showing us the daily life of some rich high school students and rich people problems in general. The scenario was not something new : The poor girl who has been struggling her entire life has to attend a high school full of rich people who look down on her. The rich / cool boy who fells in love with her but doesn't want to admit it and struggles with his own family issues / problems.
I think everyone watched this drama just for the cast . Lee MinHo and Park ShinHye were amazing once again and so was Kim WooBin.
For me, I feel this is a "classic" drama that everyone has to watch yet it wasn't a really "good" drama. I think it got overrated because of the actors and not so much for the scenario . The plot was nice up to a certain point and then it got boring but this happens in most dramas. Maybe I would watch again but after a couple of years.

One of the best dramas for 2019
I decided to watch this drama purely because of the title. It was very catchy and so was the poster. I haven't checked the cast so I was suprised to see I.U but I gave it a shot although I'm not a fan of hers ( sorry not sorry). I have to admit that she was really good and proffessional , I was impressed. The story was really good , funny in most parts but there was the nessesary drama as well (and the needed romance of course). I really loved the aisthetics and I.U 's clothes (her stylist did a really good job). Even if you don't like watching supernatural / fairtytale / ghost dramas I think this drama has a little bit of everything and you will definitely like it.Was this review helpful to you?
