If not you should give it a chance even tho second half wasnt as good as first part, people who didnt read novel are quite lucky cause its completely translated to english.... I used to try and find raws years ago and use machine translate it to understand story better or even find Viatnemese translations... They are easier to translate into englısh but then they change characters names so it was quite confusing... Anyway, IF you read novel you will know that her spear was special and we couldnt imagine her without it in a way because of how author wrote her! This is why I end up disappointed. IF she was just another casually written female general character I would get it but not this...
Also Im not that of fan of BIG CGI levels its okay to be on normal level AS LONG AS they can keep story as original as novel itself. Just be fair to the lead girl character.
Same author novel to remakes were quite disappointing in that area with recent dramas you know? Female leads of this author always more strong and quite interesting than male characters this is one of the biggest reason why its she is my top3 fave author. But somehow even tho she works with script team in most of these remakes, her lead girl characters always ends up like random asian drama girl characters... I just dont get it its quite sad actually. I know how much she can write SO it has to someone from production team that made her chance her 'original style' with female leads...

They dont do it all at same time... Most of them are filmed before and spent a lot of time in editing/under review first.Then they go for sponsor finding etr stuff and waiting for distribution license I think.
Sometimes dramas end up shelved and you dont get them even in 5 years...Some of them took even longer and boom suddenly they release at once and you end up watching your faves looking so young lols

Just watched a video of Zhao Liying as Shen Li with both filming before & after with edits while she fights with her spear.I thought they would do better with her precious spear just like in novel but I guess not... it looks so normal and cheap😭🥲 it almost looks like a diy project I cant even x'D

You should write more honest reviews! I almost chokes on my drink while reading it its so nice to see there are others who thought like me about this drama you know? I was checking from day one even before it started airing and so many people were going on & on about it being wonderful.... I checked first 10 eps with skips just to see if they kept the parts from novel.(I dropped that novel years ago but still remember how bland, boring and without a plot) Once I realize drama wasnt better than novel I didnt even add to my dropped list lol
I thought I was losing my mind or my brains were burning out while reading nice comments about

Yeah I know Dylan is really warmhearted and easy going with all his costars from bts we have seen *-* I especially loved Qin Lan & YukeeChan's drama bts vids. Did you see the hug between him & Qin Lan in that award meeting?That was so lovely and I love the way he still loves to make her laugh xD her make up almost messed up from laughıng ın bts vıds lol
BUT with Shen Yue it was on another level she dared to literally roll on beach with him while picking on each other like kids XD sorry but thats whole another level than usual stuff imo...

Always loved watching Li Yitong in costume dramas but this time her costumes and esp wigs with unique hair accessory looks just so lovable to me😻🥹

That was also both Romance & comedy even tho it wasnt the main genre it still was RomCom with his chemistry with Kim Hye Soo it felt like more than watching a casual romcom actually lol
I can only hope casting producer/producer to pick right people as his partner...

Just saw a quite long trailer on twitter and I loved it. I hardly like movies they are too short for me to connect with characters also story but sometimes with warm hearted slice of life stories goes so well as a 'movie'. This is why I feel so hopeful of this one.
Trailer looked like they blend tragicomedy well as if first half will be warm & funny and other half will be emotional packed with tears :')
Im also very surprised to see Teresa Li with such a serious slice of life story! I cant wait to see her performance. Cant say much on actor I dont think I watched him before but he looked believable in trailer...

So pretty and her aura is a lot mature than her same age actresses! I thought I would watch her in some main roles with slice of life,romance genre after 'Because of Love' but it never happened :/... she deserves better than supporting roles.

I actually checked some of the novels of these series, just to see IF drama made them that way and novel would be better. Because in most drama remake from novel cases I end up loving novels :/
BUT her novels that I checked are actually worse than drama's script...

Reading this after a week or so still doesnt help or soothe my anger for writer :/
IF she was a spoiled rich daughter of some rich family kind of character I would have understand it. I really would! But we have watched such a character from first half of serie and than suddenly a lead character turned into this absurd character....
The vibe of filming and writing of story from first half deserved better than this progress? I dont get it...

It feels like they dont ever want to support any celeb who is banned on their channels like ever... Once they are gone I m not sure how their payment is workıng with waiting dramas BUT producers just cant simply share anythıng related to those celeb...

Its okay I will watch it twice for you too! I just want to see this drama seing the day of airing! The story, lead actor & all castings' working for so many days, crew to sew and be careful about those costumes also filming sets!
They deserve better than a lead actress who isnt careful enough to not get ban on her own country.She knows those rules better than any of us...
