On When It Rains, It Pours Jan 25, 2025
Bitch is for sure sleazing around around behind his back. "I'll sleep at my parents' house tonight...", my ass. I wonder how many guys she's doing? What a weirdo. I kind of hate her for the way she's manipulating/using Kazuaki as some sort of pretty picture for everyone on the outside. What a fake.

I like this show. Sexual frustration and other sexual problems are common in long-term relationships. Seeing the topic receiving the attention it deserves without judgment or prudery is refreshing.

That Kazuaki has no gay sexual experience to this point in his life is going to make things feel extra spicy when the inevitable occurs. I hope Sei is gentle with him. :)

I teared up on Anti Reset. Looking forward to watching this series.
I ran screaming from that one.

Nice try. There is no such thing as "Chinese Queer Cinema" outside of collabs with other countries and no one…
I apologized. If you're too uptight to accept it, I do not care.

And yes, I am deeply troubled. I am insane. The nurses here at the asylum removed my straitjacket for 15 minutes so I could write this reply to you, but once they saw your comments and realized how pompous you are, they gave me 15 more. Thanks!

Lily Alice: Not only are you a terrible writer, but you and MDL are part of the problem.

You couldn't bring yourself to report these legal filings without REHASHING and spreading the "scandal" you helped develop and propagate in the first place, huh? You're disgusting. You refuse to get it.

"Earlier last year, Lee Hye Ri was embroiled in a scandal with her ex, Ryu Jun Yeol, with whom she had been in a relationship for about seven years, and who was seeing Han So Hee. With Han So Hee's involvement, many suspected she was the reason for Lee Hye Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol's separation. This led to rumors and malicious comments circulating online

'Notably, in October of the same year, a rumor spread that Han So Hee herself was one of Hye Ri's malicious commenters, which exacerbated the wave of negative comments directed at Hye Ri."

You actually quote the unproven rumors, thus spreading them further. I hope Lee Hye's lawyers come after you, Lily Alice.

You people are UNBELIEVABLE.

Rewatching this for the first time in three years or so. Just completed episode 1.

I know Tang Yi is the heartthrob here but it's A Fei I find myself leering at. Nothing sexier than goofy/sexy. :D

Terrible.
Unbearable.
Cliche.
Trope-ish.
Badly acted/directed.
More white face powder than an ancient Chinese opera.
Thai-level bad bl somehow out of China.
Avoid.
Run screaming.

Dropped.

Chinese queer cinema continues to amaze. In the Panorama section of the Berlinale, which will be held from February…
Nice try.

There is no such thing as "Chinese Queer Cinema" outside of collabs with other countries and no one INSIDE China gets to see this stuff. because of the gay ban. Why are you pushing this narrative attempting to white wash the China gay ban? Do you work for Ruler for Life Xi Jinping?

"Silent Sparks" is fantastic, but it is out of TAIWAN, not the People's Republic of Homophobia.

He should move to the U.S. and Hollywood. We don't destroy people with drug addiction; we treat them. Yoo is well…
hmmm...I'm fairly certain I never wrote that the U.S. does NOT have a drug issue. Lame distraction attempt.

The "drug issue" will never be "solved" anywhere in the world, by the way. Humans have been doing drugs forever, from primitive forms such as chewing leaves of coca and other hallucinatory plants to downing opiates in pill form.

So, exactly what does your comment have to do with anything?

I'm not here to "solve" the entire world's drug problem, which will always exist, I am here promoting the idea that Yoo Ah In and people like him be given the best possible chance to recover and lead a drug-free, sober, happy life. And that outcome is far more likely in the U.S. with treatment and probation and by allowing him to be productive, than in the barbaric, backward atmosphere of Korea, where the use of "drugs" is punished as if it were mass murder, yet the country has the highest rate of alcohol abuse and alcoholism in the developed world!

oh...and alcohol is a "drug." Look it up. It's true.

Despite not having been originally conceived to be exhibited and awarded, there is a global trend to exhibit series…
Ariel, love your comment and info. Please take this suggestion in the positive spirit in which it is offered: Break up your writing into paragraphs, the shorter the better. It makes the overall text appear much less intimidating and more inviting. Also, breaking it up where your thoughts/subjects shift is a great way to indicate that to the reader.

Partly, it's simply a visual thing. An open, airy-looking text is relaxing. I LOVE to read long, informative comments, and yet even I was put off by this wall of text above.

Finally, it's sadly a thing that young people freak out at comments of more than three or four brief sentences. They like messages brief, disjointed, and the dumber the better. But don't dumb-down, just space-out, so to speak. :D

Again, thanks for writing and I hope I haven't offended you.

Understood. I would say if you really like the Japanese version, it's definitely hard for you to like the Thai…
So, no links to actual supporting information. Got it. You're disqualified. Moving on...

not to be hyperbolic but this 20-minute-short had more substance than a big chunk of full-length bls currently…
Do you watch only Thai BLs?

About great love without any sex. To the point of tears and deep in the heart.
What kind of "great love" is it that leads one to treat their partner like dirt?

Another Thai story about how tragic it is to be gay. So original. So authentic. Such BS.
When are Thai BL writers going to hear about things like surrogate mothers, adoption, and not treating the person you love most like shit as you go off to destroy some poor idiot woman's life by living a lie with her?

Terrible.

2/10 The 2 is for the hot leads.

On Eternal Butler Jan 23, 2025
This is the fourth BL I am currently watching that is quite stupid.
However, like the others, Eternal Butler is also cute/sweet/sexy and has the all-important element: Heart.
I can't believe I'm tearing up watching a fucking robot profess its love to a bratty human.
My god, Eden Chen is insanely hot naked. His acting is improving with each episode too.

This is the kind of BL I'd be insanely embarrassed to watch with non-BL friends (which is all of them), but more and more I don't care. Any friend who won't embrace my BL quirk is no friend at all. :D
