Felt like a lame way to tie things up, them just sitting on the back of the couch waiting for the director to yell "cut!"

Why do they act like Soga is leaving next week? They have an entire freaking year to get to know each other and then decide if and how to proceed.
Why are they trying to convince us that the handsome but scrawny Sakae lifts weights regularly? He obviously does no such thing, and it does nothing to move the story.
If you spend this very early stage of a romantic relationship having brainstorming sessions to make up all kinds of rules, where the hell is the romance, horniness, spontaneity, and fun of just being together? They should be giddy with love. Instead, they're having meetings to discuss toilet paper.
There is zero physical or psychological/emotional chemistry between the MLs. The coy pre-sex scene felt icky.
Soga is not hot, built like a string bean, and frequently acts semi-intellectually impaired. And Sakae is hot for this because...?

My fave singer of all time is Jonghyun of SHINee, dead by suicide. Moonbin, the best Kpop dancer I've seen, took his life last spring. Then Lee Sun Kyun, who I met through Parasite, and then watched all of his movies, killed himself the same way Jonghyun did.
And over the last 30 years there have been many other celebs/entertainers whose work I did not follow in detail, who were driven to suicide. Google it, dumba**.

Lord, Yoon Kye Sang, as Min Jae, the ML, is a joy to watch here. Cute, cute, cute, and a very fine actor. I am not familiar with his work in the 20 years since this film was made, but I am going to make myself so now. The only area lacking with Min Jae is that the director did not make up enough excuses to get his shirt off.
I recognized Kim Dong Wook, who I know only through adult roles, about halfway through. Another hottie. All the male actors were superb here. The feeling of familiarity and affection shared among the main group of friends is natural and joyfully believable.
I felt the FL was a weak spot at times, and not deserving of Min Jae's adorable affections, but she's one of those minor flaws I mentioned that are made up for by the movie's core of shared humanity and fun, quirky characters. All supporting cast is great.
Highly recommended. I'm rating this 8.5/10. Watch it!
