This was a cute drama and all but I had major second lead syndrome. Why can't the SL ever get the girl?

Exquisite world building, amazing antagonists, solid plot, expensive production and great directing. However the…
It was honestly the worldbuilding that intruiged me to the story. I wasn't very into the drama when I first saw the trailers for it, but after reading about how people like the worldbuilding I was like... huh maybe I should give this a chance. I def dont' regret it.

This could have been so good and still could become that if the next seasons are good. It had a really high production…
I agree, sometimes Eunseom's story was even a little boring, but I can also understand the writer's reasoning. If they develop Eunseom's story too quickly, then the fight between him and the villains would happen too soon... I kind of feel like it could have been done another way and there were other aspects of his story they could have explored, but it it was it is.

lmfaooo yesss i live for the spite! i cant remember which ones have done this for me, but I do remember clenching my jaw, shaking my head, fuming at characters that I couldn't stand. I remember not being able to look at characters when they came on screen. oof wow I really wish I had a good enough memory to recall who did this to me?!!??

guess we have different opinion on this, I wish I can watch the past scenes longer.. It keeps the plot interesting,…
I honestly prefer the back story to the main plot. If the main story is just going to be them solving the problems of ghosts its just kind of 'meh' for me. Maybe if the ghosts' stories were told a little differently I'd like it more? idk Can't wait for the next flashback though.

This is what I LOVED about Reply 1988. If you know drama cliches really well then this one puts you on a bender! They do a great job of using cliches as misdirection so that even if you've watched these scenes a hundred times, they are done in a way that shock you BECAUSE they are cliches!! That really impressed me! Like my friend and I were trying to figure out who the leads were by counting how many lead cliches a character had and how many second lead cliches they had. It was really fun and definitely left us surprised.

I first came to k-drama because of the romance, but I love history so an additional perk is being able to enjoy…
I started with watching Sungkyunkwan Scandal which was a really interesting look at historical Korea. The school and its students are so important and frequently show up in various dramas. It was a great start for giving me context.

Person Mark Chao
I just finished Eternal Love and really liked his acting in it! Can anyone recommend his other good shows/movies where he's also in love?

I was hoping I would see Moon Lovers at the top. Moon Lovers need to have a season 2 else I will lose my sanity.…
There's actually a second season of the Chinese version! I hear it's not very good though for reasons I can't explain without spoilers >_< But the Chinese version of the first season is really good!

I've been paying more attention to visual clues since your last article and its given me cool insight on where the story is going and how the characters feel. I look forward to using this new information from this article as well! Thanks ^_^

uh so I'm just gonna throw out there that not everyone shares the same experience. Some people, like myself, do find that they become attracted to and can fall in love with more than one person at a time. The problem I have with love triangles is the insistence that you have to choose. I don't think cheating is okay. If everyone involved in the relationship agrees to people seeing more than one person, then do your thing.

I do agree with a lot of the issues you're talking about with love triangle writing though. Every other point you make is something I agree with. I think they are common in love triangles but I think they are also common in romances dramas in general. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a story is very good on its own but gets worse because of a romance line that isn't very good in the first place. I also hate the predictability of the love triangle. Ah some of my favorite shows are the ones where they really messed with the love triangle tropes to make the story line unpredictable :')
